There had to be a reason though. Is it route running? Does he drop a lot of passes? Does he have character issues?

 

He looks pretty darn good to me though, so I'm not about to complain about it. This WR group is pretty stacked now.

Players not going drafted is a concern. There's only a handful of them who's done something really productive and that's all-time. Not getting my hopes up about Fred

Umm, not true at all. UDFAs have better track record than late round picks. New Orleans was trying to get one from NE for a 1st round pick and Norwell was one. Lots of UDFAs with NFL starting experience and way more than a handful that have been really productive.

When I said really productive, I meant pro-bowl or pro-bowl level. But yes you're right there are udfa's that are productive that can help a NFL team.

KB and Funch are on notice....

As they should be. Both will be on the roster this year, but there should be competition for playing time.

Both were unequivocally disappointments last year. They both have the potential to be good WRs (and great in KBs case), but last year was undeniable regression.
