Rookie Camp...Rookie Jersey Numbers...

So as you all know rookie camp is upon us (insert it's happening gif) which is the first real step to getting back to football post NFL Draft. With that being said I've been curious what numbers our rookies will be wearing moving ahead...We all likely saw the introductory video for McCaffrey #22, but what about the rest?

Samuel - 10

Moton - 72

Hall - 74

All of these can be seen in their respective draft re-cap videos in the actual locker-room, but that still leaves Armah, and Butker, not to mention the UDFA's - So I know this isn't the biggest deal in the world, but something many are still interested in.

Also the official site is still to be updated, even though the referenced players numbers are on their lockers.

Eric Crume is 72. So that won't be Moton's number

I'm aware, but if you watch his post draft video, where he takes his tour it shows his locker and it says #72.

I don't think PS Squad Numbers (Crume) count vs the active roster, for what it's worth he also wore #72 in college.

Weird #74 for Hall.  Usually an OL #.  Hope he brings production with that #

There was no more numbers in the 90's left for him. They're usually the first to get taken up during this time when rosters are most bloated. I know it's just a number, but seeing him at 74 would really annoy me for some reason.

I don't think I would hate it

I liked 76 for Hardy

    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
    • Cos he looks much better?
