he spent a draft pick on TE that will never be seen again just last year.

Sandland is on our roster right now, and there is a difference between a flyer on a TE in the 7th and a FB in the 6th.

Sandland is on the Packers.

and what makes his pick a "flyer" compared to taking a hybrid FB/TE/DE from a D2 school a dozen or so picks ahead?

Wow that slipped through without me even realizing. And on the Packers still isn't disappearing like Ward did.

Late 7th is much different than early 6th. Sandland was essentially a UDFA. Of course Armah in the 6th was still a flyer but he was the first fullback drafted, and DG wouldn't use a pick on a FB with other more valuable positions available to take a chance on unless he was in their plans. It's certainly possible Armah doesn't develop quickly enough at the position, as he is raw, and he doesn't have a future here, but comparing his situation to Ward's is ridiculous. The odds are in favor of Armah being our guy at FB, either this year or next year. No guarantee of course but I wouldn't bet against him contributing as early as this year. And if he needs a year to develop behind Young then so be it.

Armah was picked nearly 60 spots before Sandland and is a FB which is valued significantly less in the draft and league than TE. Huge difference.

He was delivering  some thud hits when he was playing DE , that's the right type of attitude you need out of a FB.

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
