Panther fans who still hold a fondness for Ric Flair

Its weird how so many hate on this guy. If he were with the Panthers and doing that whack howl for our team you would all love him for it. But no...apparently being tied to Charlotte means he has to support our team, and if he doesnt its all about how much of a loser he is ( but again, if he woo'ed for the Panthers many would accept him ( that same loser) as a pet of the team.  How many of you are die-hard Hornets fans? Certainly none of you are fans of teams from other cities in other sports...right?

Leave the old man alone. He is doing his thing, no matter how sad many feel that is. When you are his age you will be wishing you could still cling to your former life and get hot tail and short gigs on crap tv shows. This team didn't need him then, and we don't need him now.

P.S. That was pretty funny how he burned C.M. with that comeback. Straight burned by a 70 year old loser! Its all in fun but still...

Funny how he mentions Josh Norman and insinuates that he left because he didn't want to cover Julio Jones twice a year. Then proceeds to say no one Cam cover him. News flash Ric,  Josh covered him and he never had a good game against him. Goes to show the guy talks but doesn't know what he's talking about.

Last time Julio and Norman matched up Julio had 178 yards on 9 catches. That's not a good game?

your point would be valid if he didn't openly become a Panthers fan and woo-ing for us during our success, only to jump ship twice.

Not sure how new you are, but, in 2004 when we went to the super bowl, he was all on the bandwagon.   He spoke at the pep rally and everything and was a "Panther for life!".    I was there, right behind him before he went up on stage.    He was drinking Starbucks and wouldn't pay any mind to a few of us right there just saying hi.    He's a real life tool, probably why his persona was so great.

I sat next to Flair twice on a plane out of Atlanta. Both times (about a week apart), he didn't speak to anyone and was pretty cold to the stewards on the plane. He also must where the same shirt every time he flys, which read "GOAT".

The guy also literally walks like hes marching towards death. Years of steroids and suplexes have not been kind to his body.

I thought about talking poo, especially when I was directly beside him, but didn't think it would be worth it. I could see him causing some kind of a scene. Just seems like a shady dude...

But why does it matter? Dude is a proven asshole as most old people are ( which why i am curious why people are so upset he isnt being an asshole for OUR team). Considering his sport and lifestyle over the years...would anyone expect him to be a welcoming father figure?

I am noone. Just a guy that thinks shitting on a half crazy man with apparently a broken career and trying to cling to mid-level success from 2 generations ago is far more abrasive than anything than i have said here.
