Michael Vick plans to sign a one-day contract, retire as a Falcon

Weird how time has "healed" things in my head with Vick.

Hated him in ATL, hated him for the dogs...but then was happy to see him turn his life around and happy he's retiring with the Falcons. Any big time player who means so much to a franchise, deserves to retire there.  Good for him, and the Falcons.  Now I hope they get demolished in the game he's honored at.

The guy served his time, give it a rest. It annoys me when people put dogs on the same pedestal as people. I hope you feel the same way about horses, deer, possum, chickens, spiders, roaches, squirrels, gators, etc., etc. They live and breathe too. Rae Carruth, the RB from the Rams that ran over those teens, Donté Stallworth, and players like them killed actual PEOPLE. Not defending his actions but jeez, priorities.

Actually, anyone that kills any of these animals listed, and plenty of others for fun or sport, or any reason other than food or defense is a piece of poo psychopath that should probably be removed from society permanently.

Is killing spiders and roaches for sport a thing now?

Folks are still talking about that? As much philanthropy the guy had undertaken since serving his punishment, folks still want to talk about the dogs. Can we give it a rest? It's about as annoying as talking Cam's towel. He was punished, served his time, and has been a modem citizen since.

You're the first person in this thread to actually have a real response. Folks that are still talking about it are folks like you. Take your own advice.

molesters, rapists, murders can do all the time they want they still don't get a pass for being a shitty human.  That's the problem with a lot of repeat offenders, is they believe too much in forgivneas and not enough in condemnation.

POS can rot in hell idgaf he's done his time and has behaved since. If you want to, you vouch for a child rapist to be not judged because they did their time by all means hire them as your babysitter, hire the habitual B&E to run your stores and businesses, the DWI to drive your family places, but don't preach to others who deserve the  right to judge people on valuable merits like a persons actions rather than what set amount of time the government sets up for an individual based on the money said individual can pay towards his defense and use that as a moral compass of forgiveness and acceptability.

I advise you to ask yourself how you feel about forgiving an individual after knowing the facts and more importantly allow other to do the same.

You're comparing dog fighting to raping children? Sick.
