Somehow Cam is still a Top 100 player. Gets ranked 44th in NFL Top 100.

Had an underrated season. NFL Players understand the situation Cam was in with his o-line and wide receivers, and know he's still a threat.

Not surprised of his drop, but understand why he's even still on the list. People are giving him a second chance, because they know that Cam is better than what 2016 suggested.

In all seriousness. Other players see Cam Newton out there sacrificing his body to make plays for the team. Even if you might not like his personality, you have to respect his dedication, and his warrior mentality on the field. This speaks volumes, and is a direct shot across the bow to the dipshit naysayers.

Yeah, great QB, bad year with a lot of injuries and slow ass WRs with the exception of Ted Butterfingers Ginn Jr . Most of the players in the league aren't idiots and know there's various reasons why the team wasn't as successful this season as opposed to 2015.

This year Cam has the weapons, the speed, and the team has the vets on defense sorely lacking last year. It's going to mostly come down to people staying healthy and whether Kalil and whoever ends up being our starting RT is good or not.

    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
    • According to Scott Fowler, in an article about former Panthers announcer applying for a job with the Ravens... what that job pays, incidentally, when the Ravens posted it publicly they said the salary would be $4,000 to $5,000 per game. An NFL season consists of 20-24 games, including the preseason and potential playoff games, so it will end up somewhere between $80,000 and $120,000 a year. The person hired will be an independent contractor, which is commonplace in the NFL these days for team broadcasters, and also have other radio and TV hosting assignments.  https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article315839800.html
