Panthers first off-season scuffle - Anderson vs Munnerlyn

Just another example of why I have said everyone is all in this year. Guys didn't come back to compete, they came back to win it all. Peppers and Munnerlyn want a ring. Add Davis and Ryan Kalil to that mix from guys already here. Gettleman started with a great offseason and draft and now it is up to the players to finish it up...

This is what I've said we missed the most. Norman was good but I have zero doubt the ability of Bradberry and Worley

Norman had that edge and a firecracker that rubbed off on the whole entire secondary.

Without him the whole secondary last year (though rookie heavy) looked very bland/dull etc.

Captain is one of those firecracker guys that will bring it to the D. Remember he helped mentor Norman his rookie year.

Norman was very specific that Captain did not mentor him. Link

Id take that with a grain of salt. Both guys with pretty big egos getting ready to face off against each other that week. They are going to say stuff like that.

I may be wrong but if you dug back when they were here, Captain did mentor.

That article is just like quoting Smitty the week of his first game against Carolina in Baltimore after being cut

I'm with you on this one. I love the competitive spirit so far and the talent ain't half bad either, lol.

My jaw was dropping reading about Bradberry's PBUs and diving interception today while playing in a cast.  That shows me something.  There is real competitive fire in our D for sure.

Cam has got to be chomping at the bit to get on the field...  Think he'll bring some extra fire for the O to training camp.

    • Wide Receiver: Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers – 85.3 One of the more shocking developments of the 2025 NFL season has been the Carolina Panthers’ ascension to the top of the NFC South, which they achieved with Sunday’s win over the Buccaneers. Perhaps nobody has made a bigger difference than former eighth overall pick Tetairoa McMillan, who continued to be a steady presence in the Panthers’ offense. McMillan caught six passes for 73 yards and a touchdown in the win Tight End: Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers – 91.1 Evans only saw the field for 16 snaps, but he was efficient in his limited playing time. He caught all three of his targets for 23 yards on just six receiving snaps while also grading well in pass protection (72.2 grade) and as a run-blocker (68.4) Edge Defender: Nic Scourton, Carolina Panthers – 77.9 The former second-rounder out of Texas A&M has been a force along the Panthers’ defensive line, and he was a key contributor in Carolina’s huge win over the Buccaneers. Scourton recorded two stops as a run-defender and added another while in coverage. Scourton also tallied his sixth sack of the year while contributing another pressure to the mix Safety: Lathan Ransom, Carolina Panthers – 75.7 Another Carolina Panther on this week’s list, Ransom has typically been stronger in run defense — he carries an 85.2 grade in that field on the season. But Sunday against the Buccaneers was his best day in coverage. Ransom intercepted his only target, which wound up being the game-winner that put the Panthers in the driver’s seat in the NFC South
