Analysis: Daryl Worley's Rookie Season - Growth, Potential, And Dominance; A Look At A Very Underrated Panther Corner

Oh, so he went from shitty, to terrible?  Got it.  This dude said he was above the likes of Trae Waynes (average), Darelle Revis (he's not even on a f ucking team right now), and Devin Breaux.  Jesus, what a great bunch of corners he's better than.  @ECUHeel

Remember when we said how bad Worley was last night?  I knew someone like this clown would try to make out like he's as good as Bradberry and s hit.

Unfortunately for you, Worley's actually been pretty good, and most people who actually watched him agree. In fact, I could bring up quite a few examples of Panther analysts saying Worley at times looked better than Bradberry.

Of course right during December Bradberry exploded and did amazing, putting him above Worley, but you guys act like Worley has never been good when he has.

As I've always said, back up your statements with film if you disagree. You'll be hard pressed to find examples of him doing bad during the middle and end of the season.

Oh, so Worley was good during useless games that don't matter?  Ah, the Matt Moore effect.  Where you play well when the season is completely over with.  Thanks for quoting two random f ucks too.  Like I give two shits about their opinion, or yours.  I saw with my own two eyes, how bad Worley was when it mattered.  He was f ucking trash.

Ignore him. He's trash.

Worley got off to a very rough start but definitely improved over the course of the seaon.

I think this has a chance to be one of the best secondaries the Panthers gave ever fielded.

I think Bradberry, and the safeties will ball out.  But, Worley will be the weak link.  He'll get picked on a ton this season.

I think he might be the weakest link too, but we'll have to wait and see. Every unit has a weakest link, but I think Worley will be good enough to not be a liability and that's what matters most.

Hey guys, who am i:

"I hate Worley and think he sucks. I hope he does terrible again this year just so I can be right. Me being right is more important than the team doing well"

Na, I just don't see him doing well.  I can have my opinion, correct?  He was a bad weak link last year, including Trae Boston.  Now, he'll really get exposed.

    • I have been looking for a dropped pass list and all that comes up is QBs. And team stats. When I do receivers I get the passing stats for a handful that threw passes this year.    I wanted to be accurate but anyhow I was looking because thought I remembered reading where T Mac had more drops than XL this year.  One of you many smarter than me people here,I would appreciate it if you know how to pull that up, please do. Thank you.    And yeah I know that isn’t all there is to it I just thought it was interesting.  Of course what the hell is a drop lol.
    • I agree with this and I think it's worth mentioning too that Bryce is not consistent on his placement and especially velocity and that in large part is driven by his footwork. We all know XL doesn't have the best hands and I don't know that he can overcome that. Cam always had the heater that just hit your hands and sank into your grip, where Bryce has some that are harder thrown, some soft. Bryce stepping into a pass looks so much different than that hop throw thing he does. I think XL really needs to hit the jugs machine and start learning how to catch all these different touch passes. TMac and Coker don't have these issues. If XL doesn't get some work in he's going to be out of the league in the next couple of years.
    • I think most people like XL from a personal standpoint. I don't think he's stupid either. Although if we are being realistic he is lacking in football IQ at this point in time and it cannot be disputed that he has not taken working on his craft seriously at all times given the body of work on the field. It speaks for itself. I myself have defended him at times given the circumstances of our QB room. But he is now in his third year and 25 years old. We are not in a position as a franchise to go around babying anyone especially first round draft picks. He needs to take his position and his football career seriously or he is going to end up selling used cars somewhere. I hope he realizes this and takes an extended break from social media because that mess certainly isn't going to increase his net worth if he ends up out of the league. And these hanger on types will disappear quick too once that money dries up and it surely will eventually. We'll see how he responds.
