Just ran into Christian McCaffery at the Charlotte Airport. Super nice guy. He was just chilling at an open terminal by himself. No one else recognized him, but being a die hard of course yaboychris28 did. Small talked for a few min about the upcoming season, also shared how I played rb in college as well lol..( way lower level d3) Anyways, then let him go on his way, didn't want to intrude too much. He was heading to San Jose so I assume he was heading home. Yeah it's not a big deal, but it was just a cool experience. Wasn't able to get a pic with him since my phone was dead at the time, but captured  a ninja pic for my Snapchat followers while he was boarding about 30 min later. Lol

its not that he doesn't have muscles, he's just really lean from almost all the pictures ive seen. He's not "wide" from the waist up , was what I was thinking before. 

And if you think about his playstyle, he really couldn't be as fast or elusive as he is with having a body as bulky as JStew or some other power back.  And McCaffreys almost the exact same height and weight as Lesean McCoy I don't see why so many people say he can't be everydown back in light of that

Hell even Ladanian Tomlinson, was only about 10 lbs heavier? I'm guessing most RBs gain some weight in their first couple of seasons just from being on a NFL workout routine. McCaffrey is listed at 202 at his combine weigh in, he'll probably be closer to 210 or 215 once he's had a year or two in the NFL.

I think a big part of it is just the attitude, even if it's not conscious, that quick, elusive players can't take the hits as well. There's some truth in that, physics being what it is, but 205, with his running style, is big enough, and I think he'll be taking fewer head on hits than the average back.

Can't say I'd like to see him used like Stewart though. He needs to maintain that quickness if he's going to avoid a short career. I know Stew likes to be the guy and get a ton of carries, but I think both the team and the backs are better off if two guys are sharing the load. I don't think Fozzy got enough carries last year. He averaged 4.6 yds/carry but only had about 3.5 carries per game. Stew averaged 3.8 yds/carry, which is his worst for any year where he played at least 13 games. We need to go back to double trouble in the backfield and quit considering Cam as the 2nd ground option. Let him run when it's there, but at RB we need a quicker option to keep the defense off balance. It's harder for tacklers to get in a groove when you've got two dangerous RB's with different running styles.

      Leaning towards just ordering this tonight, but now I have no idea on size. Has anyone bought a bunch of jerseys in the last few years and can convey how the Game vs Limited vs Reebok versions all fit? These are both Mediums... The white one here is a Reebok one from 2010, and was when they had the "+2 length" on the tag and it was the version with the stitched numbers instead of iron on... the blue one is from 2022 and is the F.U.S.E Limited version also with stitched stuff, not the "game jersey" with the ironed on numbers/letters that they have the T-Mac jerseys in. The old one fits me fine, the blue one was always a tad snug on me, particularly in the shoulders I'm leaning going with a Large based on the CMC, but for all I know, that is made with a tighter cut due to the higher "limited" level and the "game" ones they have for T-Mac are cut more like a T-Shirt and thus will fit more like the old white one I have here, not sure. (and yes, I already tried going to a sporting goods store here to hopefully try on a Lions jersey to see, but they don't have any right now)

      I think there's a ton of potential in that WR room. But they really are unproven right now. Hopefully they live up to the hype.

      My unbelievable pile is touching the moon now-a-days. Bill is ultra control freak if there was ever one in the NFL, he's the guy. He stayed off SM and hate hate hated the media..........(wow bill what did you do in 2024??!?!?!).  So this guy, 100% control freak, just gave away all his SM to a 24 year old?? He doesn't understand SM at all... This is the same level as 8 time SB winner coming to coach UNC, after all this NIL BS that drove out his other control freak coaching friends.  This time line is insane.
