Dead Weight: One Player Each NFL Team Should Release

It's a problem for every NFL team. There's always that one guy who you can't understand why he's even worth a roster spot. Whether it's money issues, lack of talent, or just complete nonsense to consider him an NFL player, there's always going to be someone who just doesn't fit the bill.

In this article, the author writes up what he believes is that one "deadweight" player for every NFL team. While many here would probably say Bersin, this author takes it a step further and finds that one guy who just doesn't make sense.

I think you all would come to agree.

Makes complete sense. Frees up cap, and allows us to go for someone better if need be. Get rid of an underperforming player who can't block and try and see if any of our younger guys can do just as good of a job.

Agreed. No way the guy is worth his cap hit. He's subpar both as a receiver and a blocker.

Dickson simply is not good at any fundament of his position; he's a walking testament to the over-valuation of work ethic and character in pro football.

It is super retarded that Dickson is still on the team and we haven't called Barnidge. Another example of Rivera's blind loyalty to certain players.

Do you know for certain that we haven't called him? Does anyone know the situation? I saw a report saying that barnidge wants to be #1 and he clearly won't be that here
