I bet it's a done deal. JR loves his puppets. He brought Dave in because he knew he couldn't get a puppet and a cap guru. Not the cap is fixed time for a yes man.

I don't see this happening. But the mere fact that Hurney was given 3x longer than Gettlemen to me screams JR just wants a yes-man. If he rehires Hurney then we can kiss goodbye all of the gains that DG has made. Our drafts will return to mediocrity. Players will get player-friendly deals. Overrated FA will be signed in mass. We'll basically be the Redskins...

Drayton Florence, Mike Mitchell, Star, Short, Quintin Mikell, Robert Lester, Hixon were all key players that season that were GMan guys drafted or brought in on cheap contracts despite the mess Hurney left behind.

Purely for my own entertainment this would be interesting. Just seeing the Huddle have a meltdown over the return of Hurley would be almost worth paying admission to see.
