Comments welcome.  I don't feel there's ANY debate.  JStew is still our #1 back, our  opponents would hate it, he's a game changer, and I can't think of anyone of note that's truly lost a season or career on a return any moreso than a regular play.

If he's the best man for the job.

I don't subscribe to your theory that he HAS to be used on returns or he's a waste of value. There is plenty of value in being a change of pace, all purpose monster by playing a hybrid role in today's NFL, even if you were the eighth pick in the draft.

I trust the coaches to make the right call.

Until he supplants Stewart as the #1 back, he should be utilized in as many ways as possible.

Agree. Until he's essentially an every down player he should be on at least one ST unit.

Top Dawg, I feel this may just be a wording issue rather than what you actually believe but there absolutely is NOT #8 overall value in being a "change of pace" role.

Exactly.  Not that we WOULD have taken Cook or Mixon, but in theory we could have had Barnett/Hooker/Howard in a trade back PLUS Cook or Mixon.  CMC IS awesome...and he better be!!!
