Game planning for San Fran begins today

You can bet your sweet hiney that Luke and Cam will be in the film room starting today, taking a look at San Fran. Neither even have to take a look at anything Pittsburgh related.

They have over two weeks to prepare for a west coast game.

I guess if they have to play out west, week one or the week after the bye are the best options.

Jeremy, do you think there is a core of players involving Cam and Luke who sit and watch tape together in game prep?

I'm just wondering if those two watch in isolation or if they make it a point to get together and talk about what they see the other teams doing. Seems like it would be really beneficial to do that.

And Norwell is sitting in a pitch black room by himself, staring into the darkness...preparing in his own special way.

Probably eats puppies and drinks the blood of baby rabbits  while listening to this loop in the background.

Seems coaches would be involved and it would be done in position groups.  Seems pretty odd for a QB and LB to watch tape together, no?

They can and I'm sure do watch it on their own. I don't know why it would be off for two very knowledgeable teammates to watch tape together to point out tendencies the other might not notice.

Maybe.....seems really weird to me.  I figured these things were done within context of offense and defense and even more so within position groups as facilitated by position coaches.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
