If we could dress 53 players on Sunday than I would freak out a little bit more that we have an extra QB and an extra kicker but most likely one QB and on kicker are going to have jersey on Sundays. If we had an extra DB or an extra Running Back most likely they would not have a Jersey either being they are so low on the depth chart.

Our top 45 players are as good as they get.   I just don't feel it is such a big deal either way.

Since when is having three pure QBs on a roster unheard of? That's pretty much a standard practice for more than a few teams.

Bored so I did the research based on each teams official websites...

Teams with 2 QBs on their roster: (41%)

ATL, CIN, DAL, DET, GB, HOU, JAX (lol), MIN, NE, PHI, SEA, TB, WAS

Teams with 3 QBs on their roster: (38%)

AZ, CAR, CHI, DEN, IND, KC, LAR, NO, NYG, NYJ, OAK, PIT

Teams with 4 QBs on their roster: (22%)

BAL, BUF, CLE, LAC, MIA, SF, TEN

That's 101%...just saying.

Actually, that's good research. I'm kind of shocked that 7 teams carry 4 QB's.

Me too. Good (even acceptable) QBs are hard to come by. I would guess that perhaps some of them will whittle it down to three as the roster requires.

I'm glad we're giving our QB position some much needed attention.

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
