We have THE most talented roster in the NFL.  We are the only team in the last 10 years to win 17 games, and the core of that is intact.  We have been in the Divisional Round 3 of 4 years and were the NFC Champ 2 years ago.  We have 13 former Pro Bowlers (not including studs Benjamin, CMC, Norwell, Star, Shaq, Mario, Butler, or Bradberry), 5 former top 10 overall picks, 12 1st rounders, 8 top 15, 16 top 45, a former MVP, and a former DPOY, in their primes.

No other team has close to the above, period.

The kicking situation is an unspeakable maddening entity that could ruin it all in various ways but doesn't change the above.

No you don't. Boasting about past pro bowlers when they're in their late 30's doesn't equate to talent.

And where they were drafted doesn't mean they're talented. Pretty sure you can be a bust if you're taken in the 1st round. Or a star as an UDFA.

Yes, we do.  Especially if our MVP and DPOY entering their PRIMES, are healthy.

Simple common sense and math shows despite obvious exceptions, the higher a player is drafted-the higher chance that he was good, is good, and will continue to be good.

No you don't. Especially when your begging for players to be signed that were recently cut from another team. If you had the best talent in the league, you wouldn't be begging for them.

Can play that game with any team.

They have Seattle as the top team in the NFC right?  Their OL is a bloody joke, they lost their top security blanket/miracle worker at WR, their best overall player (Thomas) and speedy do it all man (Lockett) are returning from devastating injuries, their LB corps has taken a major step back, major internal conflict with Sherman and serious questions at the other corner, their own DE's are getting up there in age and production with the exception of thug Clark who has a hurt wrist, they have the Blair Walsh project at kicker, their drafts have been a joke for 5 years, their best acquisition is a headcase (Richardson), and they're a helluva lot more likely to be 0-1 after going to Green Bay than the Panthers are going to San Fran.

Perhaps, but this "we have more talent" is just conjecture at this point. There is not much on the field evidence to back it up.  And Seattle has made the playoffs consistently, while we watched them at home last year.  At this point, we don't really know how much NFL level talent we have.  Will have to wait and see CM and Samuel and all the other new guys perform.  I have high hopes, but its easy to see why we might start out the season ranked so low.

Personally I think Atlanta has the most talent on offense right now, but I am not sure about the defensive side.

Say WHAT?!  We swindled the defending CHAMPS (who have multiple issues in their own right) this offseason into a young, promising OL named Taylor Moton.  The top 2 teams in this ranking went buck naked giving up assets in relatively minor trades over the last week.  Every team in the league should be looking at ways to upgrade their roster.  We currently have a debacle at kicker with a potential solution in a guy from Atlanta.  We also have the most talented roster in the NFL.

We had a winning record against the NFCW last year while Seattle had a losing record against the NFCS last year, fwiw.

    • A lot of young QB's struggle with holding on to the ball top long. He has gotten better progressively in that regard. Pocket Time(in Sec):  2.5(2023), 2.3(2024), 2.2(2025) Time to Throw(in Sec): 2.9(2023), 2.79(2024), 2.82(2025) The divedends have been fairly small, is the issue.
    • I'm firing DC, though I think it actually makes the job less attractive. He's not prepared to be a HC and it's showed. A new HC is not going to be tied automatically to BY. He's going to want to bring in some level of competition in the QB room because anyone who has ever watched football knows our QB room is lacking. If he doesn't, that tells a more interesting tale of who's really calling the shots.  Dave hasn't been decisive enough in game and that leadership council BS has trust fall vibes. Our offense has been pathetically stale and vanilla. Our run game while good has made no sense based on who has been playing best. Our defense is improved but they can't be expected to hold opposing teams to below 17 a game because our offense can't score consistently.  We've beaten some teams we shouldn't have beaten, specifically GB and the Rams, and I think our record doesn’t accurately reflect where the team and the coaching really is. We've fallen flat against a geriatric rookie QB leading a 2-10 NO team and got our ass handed to us TWICE. We're unprepared for the biggest games.  This is what happens though when real coaching candidates turn down interviews because your owner is a narcissistic butthole. You get someone no one else bothered to call and you get the results everyone else would have expected if they had.
    • The Saints would be 2-12 if not for us. We are 50% of their wins. A organization serious about the playoffs does not get bullied by a sh*t team like the Saints TWICE. It's over my brotha.
