I watched the segment live and it was pretty clear he didn't mean it as a sign of disrespect...quite the opposite.  He was stating that despite the fact that CMC isn't starting (behind Stew of course) he is still going to be active in the game plan.

I just want him to take over the game, avg +10yds per touch, multiple scores and a ST splash play.

Sounds like most Panther fans expectations. People are going to be disappointed.

I highly doubt I'll be disappointed.

Ive been thru this enough times to know better.  CMC will be just fine. Might even score today.

How is this any different than me saying "Expect a lot from CMC today, probably 25--30 touches."

Exact same amount of credibilty. I just am not on TV. We are both guessing.

When you think of how many carries or targets he needs to get those touched it's a solid workload for week one rookie year.
