FBI NCAA Bball probe

Think this is going to get UGLY.

Louisville looks to be sinking

Nc state is Adidas and has staff linked to Slick Rick.

Alabama is being rumored to get looked into next.

Also apparently FBI is going to Nike now and rumored to under armour  next.

Duke should be sweating.  You never saw K recruit or get any high top 5 guys.  High school all Americans but just not the 1 and done guys.  Until Capel came in, after Capel just left Oklahoma in a mess with the NCAA.

And you'd have to think they are going to look at Kentucky.  They have all but held up a sign saying they are corrupt.

Again this could get UGLY and not sure how the NCAA will even fair in all of this with being looked at no supervision over any of this

I disagree with you on the Kentucky thing. If you think about it, Calipari probably has the most transparent program out there. He willingly and freely admits he's ok with one and done, he's just trying to win championships, and hides nothing about it. Now, a lot of purists have a problem with that, and I think a lot of people allow their personal feelings to cloud their vision and they see corruption when, in reality, Calipari is using the system as it's set up and taking advantage of its flaws.

And if anyone believes this is just an Adidas issue, they're sadly mistaken. Won't be long until Under Armour, Nike and everyone else is dragged into this mess.

this has been going on for decades. People paying handlers to steer the kid to a certain program. Just like schools having easy classes to help keep athletes in academic good standing. I find the public outrage hilarious. People are getting a glimpse on how the sausage is made and big surprise they don't like it!

this is centered around Addidas.  I believe UK is Nike.  I suspect there are similar investigations going on around Nike, UA, etc.

I thought I saw they sent out subpoenas for Nike as well.  This is going to bring down a lot of people and programs.  Hopefully this speeds up the end of this faux amateurism.

The youth basketball developmental program at Nike was raided by the feds. No idea what could come of that.

    • just read the thread. I would like to say that the team not being sold to Tepper is an absolute banger of an answer and probably the right one

Initial gut reaction when I first thought of this question is Kasay kicks it in bounds on the kickoff, but unfortunately I still think New England wins that game even with that My second instinct was pulling Bene out before he breaks his leg in the playoffs. My crackpot theory is if he never gets hurt we win the superbowl. I refuse to go back and watch the game but at some point Peyton throw an absolute duck that should have been pick 6'd. but because we were on our like fifth outside corner he was slow to the ball. this would have completely flipped that game because I'm pretty sure Denver scored that drive and the next one was the Cam sack fumble
