 - Do whatever it takes to get a decent long-term starting LT via trade or FA rather than relying on the uncertainty of the draft
 - Hire an O.C. that will craft a modern NFL offense built around Cam's strengths
 - Draft a true #1 WR with speed
 - Experiment with moving Devin Funchess to #2 TE full-time

All fired.

I have a meeting with Cam, CMC, Olsen, and much of our Oline.

On defense, Luke, TD and much of the D Line is included.

We're moving on from the College influenced offense, bolstering the Oline and protecting Cam as well as the rest of the O is job one. A shiny running back will never be paid more than a key Tackle. A Pro offense will be installed.

Defense is going to have to rally with perhaps a bargain FA or two and a retention of key player(s). Coach Wilks has an inside track but won't be forced down the new HC's throat.

The old boy your job is safe (raise cause you deserve it) network is done. Everything you gain moving forward will be earned and rewarded when warranted if you're still at your peak. Past that if you want to stay at the best organization in football be prepared to sign on a discount.

The new mantra is attack, be it on defense or offense.

No risk, no gain.

Realize that Cam and Luke are one more concussion from retirement.

Realize that the next coach we hire will need to understand this and not risk the most important player on the team by not developing them into a passing league offense.  Draft accordingly

I have preached trenches for years, if you don't control them, none of your shiny toys run as well as they should

Don't be too attached to any player and don't accept the job from JR if you don't have complete control

Will you speak to the press after you're fired in July or will you keep silent?

For those that just want to fire Shula and keep RR, how much influence does Ron have on the offense?

Head coaches who call their own plays are always easy to blame.  Personally I think we play offense in a way to help our defense.  This is one of the reasons I think our defense is overrated at times.

I know some people are really down on Cam, but personally there is no way I would give up on him yet.  Franchise QBs are too hard to find.  If you surround him with proven offensive coaches and he continues to struggle you face that problem later.

The only problem with this is Rivera is not going to fire Shula.  Not gonna happen.  He will continue to give excuses why we are failing on offense.  By the time the axe Shula Cam will be spent.

Make Wilks HC.

I would fire RR and Shula. I'd hire McDermott, who should've gotten the Panthers HC job at the end of last season.

I'd let McD hire his own staff, but I'd want to weigh in on the OC.

I would trade Cam Newton. Get some future picks for him. Then I'd trade JStew for a future pick. Then I'd trade Olsen for a future pick. I'd keep Benjamin and Funchess and just put better competition out there at WR. If they can't compete for time on the field, then at least I have some solid depth at WR. No more starting just because of your size, name, or draft pick round.

I'd release the Kalil brothers. I would try Daryl Williams at LT just to see if he can do it. And put Moton at RT.

I would then tank this season and draft one of the top QBs, followed by the top LT with all the picks from the trades. Then I'd draft Mike Gisecki from PSU at TE. And follow that with a top tier pass rushing DE. I figure there'd be enough ammo from trades to get back into the 1st twice to land the DE and LT.

I would build the defense around a strong DL with good depth, youth, and some free agents in the secondary because now there would be cap space available.

I would build the offense around a strong OL with some youth, a new QB with accurate passing, CMC/Samuel as playmakers, and Gisecki as a stud TE.
