Byrd, Coleman, Funchess, Worley Injuries...

How do you think we adapt going into next week?  I guess Byrd will be IR'd.  We dont know the extent of Funchess' injury.  From the looks of it initially, I assumed it was a cramp, but when he came out at the end, it looked more like a strain the way he was favoring it.

And Coleman came out with a knee injury?  His replacement in Cox wasn't horrible, but was noticeably out of position several times.  Really hope KC isn't out for too long, but for them to immediately rule him out in the game isn't good.  Any more updates on his status?

And honestly, as far as Worley, I'm hoping Seymour won the coaches over today.  For him to start, play the entire game, and Brady not pick on him, that's a sign that he is more than competent at his job.

I think the biggest concern moving forward is receiver though...  KB was already a little dinged, Byrd will be out, Samuel is recovering, and Funchess is now nicked up.  As much as I hate to revisit it, I think Bersin and/or Philly is coming back.

There would be worse solutions than bringing bersin back. He could step in and play immediately if needed. I'm interested to see what their choice is between promoting duke and signing bersin.

Also just signed that reciever from SD, I believe.

It looked like Cox played the SS role and Adams moved to FS. I could be wrong but our depth is really bad.

I couldnt even remember who the backup safeties were when coleman went out.  Then when I saw Cox, i could not remember who he was lol...  then I realized he was the UDFA we signed from Cincy after preseason.  Again, respect for him stepping in admirably, but he was pulled out of position A LOT.  I hope KC isnt out long, but to get ruled out almost immediately?  That certainly isn't promising.

Yeah he stayed out on the sideline and I didn't see him go into the tunnel or anything which is a good sign. Was there ever an update with what was wrong with him besides something with his knee?

    • damn I wish somebody would sign him. This has been going on for weeks.    I think if the team wanted to sign him we probably would have heard something about interest on our part.    Or any TE. It looks like they have set that room. And we have taken guys two years running, a guy like this would be blocking them. We need to see if they have it or not. And we should see if Tremble is gonna ever do anything.      In general, with the TEs
    • Dude, there aren’t rose colored glasses big enough for you to call this “not a bad draft.” BC was not a good pick. He was taken with the 6th pick in round 3 and he’s been a backup OL. Tremble also wasn’t a win. Another 3rd rounder who’s easily replaced. Only reason either of them started games is because of injuries or a lack of a better starter. Chuba’s got heart but he’s had one solid year behind a solid run blocking unit. Other than that he’s underwhelmed and like we saw with Dowdle and Foreman, it’s not hard to find cheap pickups who perform as well. Horn has been a good starter but honestly that draft had so many solid starters we could have taken. With as many picks as we had, him and Chuba is absolutely a bad draft. We needed OL and BC and Brown was a terrible effort. You clearly didn’t watch the Senior Bowl if you thought Brown had a chance in the NFL. The huddle draft folks wanted Humphrey and Smith and instead we got crap and Mahomes was the winner.
