you mean respectfully protest without disrespecting our nation and our flag?

Somehow people think that it was him being defiant. Really the only reason kap never did that was because he didn't score. So because he sucked as a player he only could disrespect our vets. Or people who helped take down a crazy madman shooter yesterday.

As an American, I stand by your right to say this. And as a literate adult, I would love for you to explain it to me. Because, there are a lot of mixed messages in that blurb.

So...you believe Cam was not being "Defiant"? That Kap WOULD be defiant if he had the talent? And that Kap disrespects our vets, and our First Responders? Is that about right?

Because if it is? You're special. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

First. Cam was absolutely being "Defiant".

Second. The ONLY reason Kap didn't do that? Because it probably never occurred to him. What did occur to him? Kneeling. It has nothing to do with disrespecting, and everything to do with respecting.

Hate Kap for what he is doing all you wish. But the man has sparked a revolution. What started as a single knee, has grown, thanks to our fearless leader, into a full blown Happening.

I will finish with this. I hated Kap the athlete. But man, the dude put his livelihood on the line for his beliefs. How many of us could/would do the same?

It's not a mixed message. Everyone has a right to protest. Cam was protesting but if you like it or not he was doing it in a way it didn't insult millions of people. Yes sure if you hate BLM it was a insult but I'm not getting into that.

Secondly Kap is a narcissistic ego maniac that needed attention. You're telling me that a guy that kissed his own bicep and super maned to mock Cam didn't think to pump his fist in the end zone? That's weak sauce. He knew disrespecting the flag and anthem was going to get him attention that he wasn't going to get by his sub par play. He also knew the left would put him on every news media outlet in the US.

Go find your safe space and a therapy dog little snowflake...  Its gonna be OK....

Do I sound triggered to you? And 7 combat tours has pretty much removed the need for me to find a safe space when someone challenges my point of view or calls me out for accurately depicting my point of view. And it will be ok, because I'm comfortable with my perspective and can be proud of how I think of and treat others...you? Not so much. But like I said. You do you. I certainly won't be able to change you today. I have a meeting to go to. :shades:
