Two concerning matchups vs Lions

Ansah has been "injured" in some form or another since the early goings of last year. He has had a mostly quiet year aside from the Giants game. I'll admit ignorance, I don't know much about Matt Kalil. But unless he is as bad as Ereck "WTF am I doing in the NFL" Flowers, I personally don't expect Ansah to make much of a visible impact on this game.

That being said, if Jarrad Davis is back, then the whole defense takes on another look entirely. Crazy that a rookie MLB has that much impact on the team, but here we are...

Kalil can look every bit as bad as Flowers so this could very well be another one of those games for Ansah.

Yep, you guys got one hell of a player in Davis, definitely won't be upset if he sits another week. I'm under the impression it was a bit of a shock he didn't play in Minny so I'm assuming he plays this week?

Yeah, his injury was listed as concussion, but having watched the play a few times, it really seems more like a neck injury. In either case, he was on the sidelines in Minnesota, taking notes. Seemed to be fine, he practiced all last week. I think it was just Caldwell being cautious with the young man. Still a lot of football left, no point risking him this early in the season if he isn't completely 100%

Lol Shaq is a huge liability covering WRs in the slot.

Throw in the fact that we are facing Golden Tate this week it’s even worse.

Not sure what you’ve been watching

Huge is an exaggeration.. we had 2 bad defensive games.. one against a hof qb that we got no pressure on.. the second on a hof qb throwing to a hof te..

golden Tate is just a good slot this isn’t fantasy football.. and the lions passing game hasn’t been that great neither..

Matt is gaining chemistry with the rest of the oline so he’ll be fine.. & ziggy is not the best de we’ve play’d This season this is just some more pessimistic propaganda..

also shaq nor captain are liabilities against slots.. this is also another fabricated narrative..

Pessimistic propaganda.. LOL! Dude, I was just mentioning and couple areas that could be a concern. Not being pessimistic at all. Chill out brother.

How do you not know much about Kalil? You guys have played him twice a year for the past 4-5 years, minus one injured season.

Breaking News: Munnerlyn sucks. He sucked when he was here during his first stint and he sucks now. Hes too short, not fast enough, and doesn't cover the slot all that well, especially against taller receivers. I sure hope the nostalgia of this guy wears off and people actually remember how much of liability he used to be. We let him go, Minn let him go...there are reasons. Safety is so horribly under-manned on our team that people seriously believe that this guy is good. Just because he's better than the stable of glue factory horses we currently have doesn't make him any less of a sway back trail horse.

Sometimes a change of scenery and/or coaching changes a person's level of play. So, since becoming a Panther, I have no idea how he has been playing.

Hopefully Jarred Davis and Golladay each take one more week coming back but they'll both most likely play.

But Kalil can prove something Sunday, Pats don't really have anyone worth a damn at defensive end but Ziggy is no slouch

Don't get your hopes up

Darius Slay is a really good corner.

I'm not sure if they'll put him on KB or Fun Fun but it could be a tough matchup for either guy.

I just love the fact that Funchess has stepped up and is playing well enough that it's a legitimate question who will draw their #1 CB.

Before, it was definitely gonna be KB plus they'd roll any help coverage toward his side.

There on the same level anyway.. I’d give cam the edge cause of expirience..

shaq lawson up and coming

Lorenzo Alexander a lb but still pass rushes most the time..
