Luke officially out with concussion as reason

With Luke out, if Coleman can make it back I'd feel a whole lot better about communication in the secondary. I think Mayo can handle the game especially with a full week practice as a starter under his belt. TD mentioned in a locker room presser that he and Shaq also need to step up communicating without Luke there to count on.

Guys, look at it this way. To repeat, he either definitely had a concussion, or in doctor speak, no rule out, which ends up meaning the same thing for practical purposes, and in reality, about everything else. Once concussed, they're easier to get. The initial abrupt change in head direction during the sequence was more than theoretically enough. On a positive note, helmet and pads with arguable contact with the sled like gizmo should be a  stage five activity. It's not a big leap to assume his appointment Monday is for full clearance assessment.

Honestly not a huge deal, I think we can beat the Bears without him. Need him later this year. I really do wish though that he never had a concussion like was reported last Sunday, but the fact that this one is taking much quicker to get over from than last year, is honestly a very good sign for his outlook. If his head was really f*cked up, the one this year would probably be more like Oher's and he'd be out indefinitely, or at least longer than he was out last year.

Why were you so quick to call Person a jackass when he said Luke wasn't going to play?

people still denying this was a concussion need to face facts. it sucks. luke doesn't miss games for hurt feelings. if they found a way to keep him off the field, it's a concussion. putting your fingers in your ears and humming isn't going to make it any less real. the good news is that his recovery rate appears to be shorter this time. hopefully they give him all the time he needs.

I didn't call him a jackass because of that, but because of his continued effort to stir sh*t up with how the team has handled injuries, such as Cam's and Luke's in the past.

    • OK honestly I don’t identify like that but if I did I would think about being the first raised on TV generation (bad), we were probably latch key/before the term was invented - because I was raised by a single working parent, stuff like that. No baby sitters until after dark. Afternoons you just waited for an adult to show up. We were the bussing generation where they tried out their social engineering and forcing the races together in school (good and bad in that), and definitely the first bunch to have to deal with the threat of the big bomb going off. I, like everybody else was taken out in the hallway at school and taught how to and where to sit and receive my radiation dose if someone nuked us. And then they killed our president right in front of us. That is probably the most destabilizing thing that gets the least attention. The atomic bomb and the potus killing.  Around t(e same time we had the Beatles and music becoming a youth thing, with the youth gaining economic power they still have today, and top it off with a good memory of childhood - all tne Coke bottle caps had pictures of NFL players in them. We collected them. I particularly remember Mick Tinglehoff Minnesota Vikings lol. Complete with flattop haircut. We had pro football before there was ever a super bowl and in those days baseball was the king of sports in the US.But football was coming for them. And soccer was what weird funny talking foreigners did lol.
    • When Kenny Pickett's arm looks noticably zippier than your starting QB you know problems are ahead.
    • Correction, meant to say Seattle had a limited passing attack in the SB.  Darnold did do enough to win.
