I'm usually good at finding videos online but I can't find this one.

 

Last night on inside the NFL, they showed TD's pregame speech talking about Matt Ryan

 

"2 years ago he told us to get the F**** off our field. So disrespectful. I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT!" 

He then went to say we take it to him after that.

 

Great leadership as always from TD, it's an awesome clip I hope someone finds.

TD said this the pregame for this week's game. I know he has said it in the past too. I just saw it on this week's inside the NFL.

I know it was new because TD said , allot of you new guys don't know....

It was 2012 bro.  It was the game right after that TNF game where the Giants beat the poo out of us, Smitty called Cam out for sulking on the sideline and then we had that big ass media circus stirring up around Cam that lasted the entire year -- and in ways, to this day.

We had the lead with like less than a minute to go in that Falcons game, Cam was powering through for a short 1st down, fumbled the ball - recovered it, then we ended up punting.  Back on defense it was like 3rd or 4th and long pinned in their own endzone... we had the fugers beat.  Then that fuging Haruki Nakamura play happened where Roddy got them in FG range with seconds to go.

Matt Ryan was getting his teeth kicked in all day long and was feeling himself after a blown coverage, great play by Roddy and Bryant kicking nearly a 60 yard FG to scrape away a win.

That game combined with the Giants game effectively ended our season before we could ever really get started.

      I don’t go back and look at the espn but there live it definitely said 1 shot 1 goal when it happened. I guess they had not added them yet. Still allowing goals that early is rough. Blue line is a total disaster still. Even with Slavin back. Miller and Nikishin keep making mistakes after mistakes.

      I generally disagree with the concept of picking a position because of value early in the draft. For instance, if there's a really good safety, RB or ILB at pick 10, I'm choosing him over a project WR or DE. Better players make the team better. A bunch of ok players will give you an ok team. The number 1 goal of the draft should be to improve the overall talent on the team. Not to fill positions of need.  Deciding beforehand that you're picking a LT in the first or second round because Ickey went down is not the way to improve the team. Now if Dan has similar grades on 2 or 3 players and one happens to be a LT, then yeah go for it. But don't pass on your guy at ILB because you have a gap at LT or need to improve the pass rush with a DE. When those guys don't pan out then you haven't improved your team. But that LB could have been a franchise cornerstone for years to come. See Luke Kuechly and Christian McCaffrey.
