The tension between the National Football League and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones are almost at a boiling point as the NFL has accused Jones of attempts to sabotage contract negotiations with commissioner Roger Goodell. The feud has gotten to the point where some of the owners have talked about removing Jones.

I don't understand why the owners still want goodell around?? He has made some really outrageous demands for his new contract and has done nothing to smooth over the national anthem debacle and also basically ignored the CTE issues.. what has he really done for the NFL that is worth having him around?

I was a huge dallas cowboys fan as well before carolina was around, Then I switched to carolina in 1995/1996 just cause the colors and the rest is history, He did treat landry like crap, He got aikman won super bowls but the idiot fired jimmy johnson and his team went to poo, (barry switzer sucks btw) If they remove jerry it's gonna be a fun time when he sues the NFL,

Say what you will about him but this is absurd if it's about him wanting someone other than Goodell.

The league is going downhill just as predicted several years back.

viewership might be down this year, but revenue is at all time high and is increasing every year. owners love goodell, there's literally no way he gets removed.

" NFL's total revenues are projected to surpass $13.3 billion this year, up more than 50% from 2010." In 2010, the annual revenue was 8.5B,  meaning the league has brought in an estimated $750 million annually over the last six years... keeping them right on track for the $25 billion mark by 2027.

insane stuff

the dude has increased the market share and profits exponentially since he got the job and it's still trending upward. it's all about the $$$.

like others have said, jerruh is just pissed because one of his players got suspended again.

Leading indicator. This happened with housing market. Prices were rising but the significant turning point was when month to month sales first went down. It's only a matter of time.

But if the owners willing to strip ownership because of disagreement on commissioner then that's pretty screwed up.

    • Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.
    • Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy
    • Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
