I know the comparisons are coming .. our situation is no where near the level of the Giants self destruction in such a short period of time .

As long as we have 1 winning season within a 3 year period JR will be satisfied , but imagine if he could do ish like this and realize our coaches are holding our team back 

Coaches aren't everything but by God are they important. It's very apparent dudes like mcadoo and Rivera are good coordinators but they just don't lead men well and not good HCs

2-10 is mediocre.

8-4 isn't.

Soon to be four playoff appearances in five years isn't mediocre.

How about three playoff appearances in a four-year period and three division titles in the best division in football?

I have a hard time imagining Gettleman  getting the GM job over Marc Ross. I acknowledge it's possible though. 

The more likely outcome to me would be his being asked back in some other capacity, maybe even assistant GM.

One of those seasons were 8 7 1

and this division didn’t get that accolade until this year

football and the salary cap creates windows. Rosters have to be turned over. If you are expecting the current brain trust to do that well we have seen that show before 

the panthers will win one on the next 4 games 

The division leader has beat the poo out if the Panthers twice and it wasn’t close. Usually there is a split. They were not the physical team, their personnel not as good, and they were out coached.

Outside of Newton, there is not one reliable piece on offense

Expect the same this Sunday and if Rodgers comes back the following week, the same
