Does Rivera have something against hyphenated players?  I thought CAP showed so much burst and agility running between tackles when given the opportunity.  I just don't see us getting back to being a good running team with Stewart anymore.

RR doesn't what to call so him, so he just sticks with Stewart.  One name is easier to remember than 2......

The season's 3/4 over, Riveras not going to change his tactics this deep in the season . 

Its funny because CAP is average like over 6 yards a carry where Stew and McCaffrey are average a little over 3 ypc. Its the coaching staff dudes, they're too emotionally invested into Stew and feel like they have to justify spending the #8 pick on mcCaffrey . Nothing will change unless Stew goes down with an injury.

The whole CAP needs more playing time is beating a dead horse. I 100% agree, yes he deserves a lot more carries but it won't happen with Rivera at the healm

Stewart's final carry yesterday was the second play of the second half.  and Cap still couldn't get a carry.

It really baffles me that CAP has had some of the best runs this season and didn't get one snap against the Saints. If they only used CAP and CMC to start the games and mix in different runs to wear defenses down. We should use Stewart late in games to beat the fug out of defenses.

The veteran players run this team because they know JR has their back. As we saw when players got together and got Gettleman fired. Ron doesn't dare bench a veteran or he might get the ben mcadoo treatment for benching Eli manning

CAP's stats for the current year:

Attempts: 13

Yards: 79

TD's: 1

YPC: 6.1

That's a half for an elite back in this league. I'd love to see him get more playing time. I can't help but wonder if something is going on at practice or behind the scenes that we aren't privy too and it's keeping him off of the field.

Ron is a terrible offensive evaluator and Shula does whatever he says....or it might be the other way around, who can tell?

I swear, if We don't even give CAP a chance this season and then draft another big back early next year, I will punch a puppy in the face.  With how bad Stew has been, it makes no sense as to why we keep throwing Stew out there and refusing to see what we have in a younger back.

What about giving our first round pick more than 6 carries per game?

It will happen, need actual reporters to do some real journalism and call Rivera out at pressers hell even Cam instead of asking the same damn question everytime.

I'm ok with that, but I understand why he has struggles when he's asked to be slot and RB.  The only reason I think CAP should get the RB carries is so you end up with a thunder and lightening situation.  Stew is neither Thunder, or lightening...he's stationary bike.
