https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFL_win–loss_records Regular season we are #20 all time, and post season we are actually #7 all time. Cowboys at the top , Buccaneers at the bottom for regular season, then Patriots at the top, Bengals at the bottom for post season.

Alot of teams are much older than we are tho. I wish there was a way to compare all the teams at around their 22nd year of existence.

might be an interesting topic for @KB_fan to explore. i might try too if i have time, but KB would do all sorts of in depth stuff that would be really cool lol

Correct.  Additionally, it is not the first time in franchise history the team has been over .500 as we began our existence at 7-9, 12-4, 7-9 before falling to 4-12.  So we were above .500 from some point in '96 until some point in '98.

Thanks. OP fixed.

Not sure how interesting that would be, or relevant given at one time there were much less teams than today. Comparing all teams since 1995 is pretty fair. It was the last extension of the NFL and things have been consistent since then.

I’d link my thread it compared W/L, playoffs and SBs but I’m too lazy.

  • Jaguars (23 years) : .451
  • Texans (16 years) : .433
  • Panthers (23 years) : .500
  • Ravens : (22 years) .546

I literally calculated  total wins / total games = win percentage

We're def doing alot better than the Jags and Texans, but the Ravens have us totally outclassed

    • The people who aren’t doomers have seen progress and are hoping he will continue to progress and become a consistently great quarterback. No one is saying this is the finished product and has played well all year.
    • I'm glad someone involved in the process here is manning up and saying the quiet stuff out loud. "I think Pete's [ND athletic director], his behavior has been egregious," Yormark said. "It's been egregious going after Jim Phillips, when they saved Notre Dame during COVID. ... The chair said that as Notre Dame and Miami got closer together, head-to-head would be a factor, OK?" https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/47261132/big-12-brett-yormark-calls-notre-dame-pete-bevacqua Just more absolute cuck bullshit from the ACC though. You need another conference commissioner to step in and say what you should be saying while you continue to kowtow to ND and create excuses for them like a battered spouse? GTFOH... with the "oh he loves me, he won't do it again" ass bullshit while you're sitting there with a black eye and a lump upside your head while he's strutting around saying "yeah, she learned her lesson this time she won't be trying me again like that". The quicker this ends in an divorce the better off the kids will be for it.
