If it did, it's have to be like RIGHT over the border. Maybe next to Carowinds. Then you'd have the Uptown hotels, 485-access hotels, and Carowinds area hotels. But only if they built a new age super dome.

I personally know at least 15 people in or from CLT with 100m. There are prob a few very quiet people worth 500-750m. But 1.5B in assets? Not so many. 

If if I were a betting man, I’d say the cash comes from Connecticut. tiger fund money with Julian Robertson ties.

What about demolshing that old amusement park Jim Baker had in Fort Mill and build it there.  Maybe name the staduim after Jerry Farlwell.

Bowles already owning land that could be used for a stadium certainly makes this scenario way more plausible.
