Good thing we didn't let Ginn walk for peanuts while improving our arch rival and hampering our own offense.

Oh wait....

Letting Gin go was not bad. Not going after some decent wr for depth was. Getting a wr that was a 5th wr off another team that wasn' necessarily loaded at wrs was.  This Gin thing is a dead horse he wasn' worth top wr money. Byrd and Samuel are Ginns replacement its just that injuries well you know hurt.

In hindsight letting Ginn go was certainly a mistake but one that couldn't really be foreseen at the time. Ginn was terrible everywhere else he had ever been and Cam made him look amazing. His inconsistency and drops hurt us a ton though and we wanted better. Byrd and Samuel have both showed a ton of promise to replace Ginn and both got hurt. Can't blame anyone for injuries.

Yeah man, Ginn sure looks atrocious in NO right now. What was I thinking.

Samuel is made of glass and Byrd was buried on our depth chart by our genius head coach.

There was virtually no downside to signing him to a 2 year deal for depth at the very least while we brought along younger guys.

Some of you guys can convince yourselves of anything. Geez.

    • Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
    • Canes are the deepest team in the league.  We have the best 4th line.  Jankowski, Robinson, and Carrier have been very good.
