Didn’t Jerry Jones say he was going to suspend/release players if they didn’t stand for the anthem? Why is this an issue?

He's full of $hit if he thinks pointing to God got him fired. Plenty of players do that without it having a darn thing to do with protests. He was a band-aid player from the practice squad and he got released. What about him getting called up for a cup of coffee with the team makes him entitled or special enough that he had to have been fired for a reason other than him not being a good enough player. Just because you don't do something "wrong", as he alluded to at the beginning of the article, doesn't mean you did a whole lot RIGHT either.

How about you were not good enough to stay on the 6-10 active roster. And he was resigned to the practice squad three days after being cut. Sorry but if JR was a racist, he wouldn’t have been resigned. 

There is a reason the same news outlet that dropped the JR story weeks ago is now doing a follow up piece about this alleged racism by JR. This clown was the one who took this story to the press prior to the leak. 

Unless I’m remebe wrong, I remember the coaching staff being high on Marcus Ball before the 2015 season but then he got hurt. So it wasn’t for the lack of talent.  I even remember a few people raising an eyebrow whenever he got cut just because of the the good TC he had

Bersin seems more like nepotism than anything else. He could be black with dreads and tattoos and if he went to the owners alma mater I think he’d keep getting a shot.

Ball suggested using the team platform as a form of protest. That’s the issue from day one.

It’s similar to logging into your company social media account and protesting a topic. Even if you state who you are.

its just not the place to protest. Do like everyone else and protest your cause the way the rest of us do.

Dreads, tattoos, earrings, etc. all those things probably make JR very uncomfortable. Someone mentioned Alvin Kamara earlier, and JR would’ve never allowed for him to be drafted. Most the African Americans on our team are clean cut. Julius isn’t, but Julius is different. If Julius wasn’t Julius, he’s probably be gone the minute he decided to stay in the locker room during the anthem. What’s funny is he probably has no care that Bersin rocks long hair.
