Call me crazy, a bad fan, or whatever but I'm not sweating WR. Funchess, Samuel, and Byrd I'm confident enough to not break the bank on a free agent over nor spend a high pick. Would I like better? Sure, but I'm also wanting to make sure we retain Norwell and improve at DE + S.

Having watched Jarvis since his freshman days at LSU, Landry is not a Smitty receiver. He is a good one but he doesn't possess the speed that Steve had. He was always the more consistent between him and OBJ at LSU. His routes were always short to medium while OBJ took the deep routes.

He has smitty attitude.. He is a dog like smitty was .  Add that to Cam swag and you got something.. Oh and older smitty wasn't  about speed at all.. He became a superior route runner which Landry is now.. Smitty became the best WR this team ever had because of route running and great hands plus playing like a hungry dog. Not speed.. Great Route running quickness and great hands can supplantment not having speed.

Landry is nice when it come to picking up 3rd downs, but I feel with Samuel he can be that guy in the slot. The only problem is injuries and he don't have hands like Landry

I think Samuels is going to be used on the outside.. And that's why they traded KB.. They didn't put Samuels in the slot after that..

Probably true, Hurney as you said is a turd. 

The only hope we have is Old Norv telling Hurney to go out and get someone like Flash, but Hurney would probably draft another Dwayne Jarrett instead. 

The only thing that gives me hope is Hurney did trade a 3rd for Olsen— so it’s possible.
