No prospect screams "WR1" to me after cursory glance

All of those guys are really the only realistic options given our current situation.  It all comes down to the money game.  You still have to spread it around to build a complete team.  We certainly don't have that at the moment.

Hurney is going to get blasted for making some tough choices.  I just like the fact that other areas of the team are being given some importance now.  We can't afford luxury picks year after year in the draft and the el cheapo special in free agency.  And,  on an off note,  what should have been a value turned out not to be.  We could use some Matt Kalil money right about now.

Why would we want to draft a receiver.  We already have 4 guys on the roster with really no more than 1 year experience.  Why do you want to add another young guy who doesn't know what to do, how to do it, or when to do it.  He doesn't have to be a superstar but a guy with some experience and know at least what he is suppose to do might look like a superstar among this group.

Like what? I only see one tough choice and that's Ryan and Norwell

Every other decision pretty damn easy and clear to me

Matt Kalil is the albatross in the room at the moment.  I'm not sure what they can do about that situation if he doesn't step it up next season.  They sure as hell can't sign another too dollar FA.

Well,  that's probably enough.  Lots of fans will scream "Bloody murder!" Some people will even whine about Star, even though I think that he is the epitome of expendable if he is to be overpaid.

You guys are slepping on Sutton and St. Brown

Nothing about either one screams day-one starter. In fact,  depending upon what happens in FA,  I don't see either one getting a whole lot of playing time.

I guess my thing is,  I like Chris Godwin over any of these guys,  and he basically rode the pine this season.

The sooner this organzation sees Funchess and Samuel for what they are and not what they hope to be the better off we’ll be.

23 year old Devin Funchess looked like the only NFL caliber receiver on the roster and 21 year old Curtis Samuel played in like 4 games as a rookie...and you're ready to write them off? You're nuts.

St. Brown has speed after the catch. The same thing we missed from losing Ginn

Chris Godwin was dope and we had every chance to get him too.

Sutton is already a better route runner than most of the guys on our team, maybe except Funchess.

He's a guy you can design plays around and he wins the jump ball. Excellent body control for a 6'4 guy.
