Really,  @juliosantos, I'm not sure that ANY of these guys are better than what we already have.  And then, arguably the only one who may be better is the biggest injury risk of the bunch. Sorry,  I can't get behind this.  I may want to look into Brice Butler as competition/depth, but by no means do I consider him some type of answer to our prayers.  I don't think any of them are.

Won't be nearly as sad as when the lights fade on Cam, and Luke's careers. If we have no Lombardi Trophy to show for it, you'll be here crying too bro.

I'll be a-ok tbh. I'm more stable than Eagles' fans. :3

I'm fine with a drafted RB too since it's a deep class, but I get scared by the FA WRs. Either you are dumpster diving for $5M per year (Maclin, Wheaton and a broken Marshall all got $5.5M last year) or you are spending $7-9M on the next Sanu/Jones/Woods (he was solid even missing 4 games)/etc.

Lee is probably getting $7-8M per year. That's ridiculous and not worth it. I'd rather take a risk on Ridley, Kirk or others in the draft class. I don't want a WR who we know is just OK. We need to get someone who can make defenses worry about both outside WRs so that Greg, CMC and Samuel/Byrd/whoever is in the slot can run free.

and there is a guy who can do that and who we can afford....calling it right now Jeff Janis...and you can still draft another WR without pressure to reach and have the option of other positions in first 2 rds...

Quick note to anyone thinking of Allen Robinson (from Rotoworld)

The Florida Times Union's Ryan O'Halloran predicts the Jaguars will use the franchise tag on impending free agent Allen Robinson if the sides can't agree on a multi-year contract.

Robinson is easily the Jaguars' biggest free agent, ahead of CB Aaron Colvin. Jacksonville only has eight players scheduled for free agency. Robinson missed all of 2017 with a torn ACL, but he expects to be cleared for a mostly-normal offseason. The franchise tag won't be cheap, but Robinson is the team's No. 1 receiver, and Jacksonville still has plenty of cap space. The receiver market already looks weak. A-Rob is one of the three best available.

I'm not doing that right now so unless you want to find them and post them I'll leave you to quoting everyone else.

projected 15 mil space...projected combined valuation or Norwell and Star...15 mil... of course there are things we can do but it's still close. The top guys are going to want more than what we would save on letting Star walk...and the 1.5 for cutting Stew may not be enough... that's just for the one WR...we have other needs

That's all I was saying.  I think teams who stay ahead of the curve find ways to make things happen.

Hell no op, first off i would like the fo to make getting cam a proven vet wr a priority this offseason via trade or fa, but if, big if, if we go the buy low route guys like tyrell willams, quincy enunwa, an cameron meredith should be guys we bring in immediately(rfa's but if there respective teams don't plan on  keeping them def worth signing one or maybe two of theses guys). if not than you either spend the extra money in fa or make a trade, i think if the value isn't there in fa, it's time to make a trade. plenty of options i'd like to be pursued, ty hilton, marquise goodwin, etc and i;'m hearing sanders from denver could be released, def a guy who'd fit in.

Not a single WR in this discussion excites me at all. I'd rather take a chance on a few of the top WRs in the draft. It's a weaker class, but I think that could mean that the top guys will be available at our 1st or 2nd round pick like the OTs last year where the top OT went in the 20s and the other top 2 went end of first and early 2nd.

I still don't get the Lee love. KB had better results in 3 years than Lee had in 4 years. Lee's going to cost almost as much as KB's 5th year option and I don't think he'd help us anymore than having Byrd and Samuel healthy and Lee's missed 2-6 games in 3 of his 4 years.

kb was the #1 WR, lee is the 3rd option behind hurns and robinson, plus he has up and down blake bortles as his qb.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
