Hornets vs Pacers

Shocker

our best quarter of the season its amazing what making shots can do for a team

on the downside this is the kind of game with 2 games til the trade deadline that will give us that false confidence that says do something stupid like trade away monk to try and make 8th place this year.

I dont think we are gonna be going to tank mode after this game as our "number" for a top 5 pick will be down to 3. I guess the best thing we can hope for is the Nic keeps up the good play of the last couple games and that Zeller coming back is helping out as other teams are starting to lose key players.

they tryed to lose this one after the great start but held on

cliff is obsessed with playing MCW for some reason and why the hell is graham in the game at crunch time

I do think that Frank fits in better with the starting group as he can have some of his deficiencies hid by dwight  and feel that marvin would fit better with the second group now that zeller is back

you can tell the team is trying to win now and we will need to go 3-1 on the upcoming road trip if thats the case

6 days to the trade deadline and i just dont see them being sellers with the rotations being used right now

Wtf was Clifford thinking. He kept MCW in for far too long into the 4th and we almost blew the game once again.

If we aren’t going to tank we need to be buyers at the deadline. Since we aren’t going to play the young guys just trade our First for a guy like Lou Williams like we should have done last season.

I swear Jordan, Cho, and Clifford all want to take the team in different directions and it royally fugs us every season.

It's going to be fantastic when we go on a huge run only to come up short and get the 14th pick in the draft where we either trade it for someone like Bellineli or get to choose from the likes Robbert Williams, Lonnie Walker, and Daniel Gafford.

Or maybe we get lucky for once and draft the next Kawhi or Paul George.

    • “Y’all been watching film, huh? That’s cool, watch this.”
    • Really? Wow. Sorry. Got my timeline messed up. I remember someone claiming to be Graham’s mom on the old Charlotte.com board so I guess it was a long time ago that he was here. I guess I thought he was after Kasay.
    • Nick Scott has gotten his share of Huddle hate, but I came across this SI article by Zach Roberts when I was researching recently released Quandre Diggs, speculated to be a better option  (https://lastwordonsports.com/nfl/2025/11/07/breaking-titans-cut-former-three-time-pro-bowler-quandre-diggs-4-destinations-ranked/3/), but getting back to Nick Scott... Now to be fair, the observation on Scott was before the Packers game, but the stats couldn't have changed that much, and may have gotten better.   "At some point during virtually every Carolina Panthers game, you have probably found yourself grumbling about Nick Scott. The much-maligned safety has seemingly been out of position a lot or has failed to make a play. The eye test has often let him down. "But that's why stats are so helpful. Sometimes, the eye test, especially for fans, is unreliable. On occasion, advanced metrics help make sense of things and lend more clarity. In the case of Scott, they make him look like a much better safety than any of us would've guessed. "In coverage, Scott has given up just 15 yards and an average of five yards per catch. That's the lowest among safeties, leading superstars like Julian Love, Talanoa Hafunga, Quandre Diggs, Kerby Joseph, Kyle Hamilton, and Minkah Fitzpatrick. "In FI%, the safety leads all his counterparts once again at 40%. Brian Branch, Camren Kinchens, and Xavier McKinney are some notable names he leads. He's been pretty excellent in pass coverage, which is crucial for the Panthers." For those wondering, "FI" means forced incompletions. Now I'm way past trying to figure out why X links aren't embedding for me like they used to, but here you go: https://x.com/dacornerman/status/1981363757608513632?t=rx_5iLjp8_y5huNcg_y1nA&s=19   Suffice it to say that Scott may not be as bad as some have led on.    https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/onsi/news/much-maligned-panthers-db-way-better-than-think
