Michael Crabtree?

Sanders would have to be cut, but I'd take a flyer on Pryor before Crabtree. Crabtree ran his mouth about the redskins secondary and got shut down.

And IMO Crabtree had a down year because Cooper regressed. Once teams didn't have to worry about Cooper making a play Crabtree was a non factor.

Hell KB played on two teams and missed 4 games and produced more receiving yards on 20 less receptions lmao

Sure if we want two number two wr's again.

Any wr that we bring in via free agency, trade,  or the draft has to check one of two boxes:

- Be a bona-fide number 1 wr or  have undeniable deep threat speed and can use his speed to get open.

If you bring in someone like Jordan Matthews which I've seen suggested or draft a Courtland Sutton we're basically in a worse situation than  we had with kb/fun fun. At least KB produced when being double covered and bracketed. Can't say the same for anyone we bring in if the fit the mold of a number 2 wr.

Underrated option that might be a cap casualty would be Emmanuel Sanders, he's not the youngest guy anymore but he's consistently open and has great hands.

Crabtree would be our #1 WR if he was on our team. He is an upgrade over anything we have right now. He has good hands and will be a WR who can move the chains. Im all for Crabtree.

Crabtree would easily  be the best WR on the team

Not really.

Speed speed speed.

I’m on the Pryor bandwagon. I feel like he could work out just like Ginn did for us.

Pryor is not a quintessential speed guy.  Most of his best work has been on crossing routes.

NO!!...Throw sht up against the wall and see if it sticks...

Crabtree has never been "sht." He was decent for the 49ers,  but upped it a notch to more than decent for the Raiders.

He's the type of receiver you want playing for you.  He's a legit red zone target.

Rumor has it that Gruden may want to keep him.

    • It appears that he sees things differently than the QB and OC, so Cam's advice is spot on. It isn't about number of targets, it's about quality of targets. Trust and being on the same page. BY doesn't know how to anticipate what XL is doing. And XL doesn't like where BY is placing passes. One on one film study would go a long way. More for BY than XL though. He has to adjust to XL. I really don't think XL can adjust on the fly.
    • If the team shows improvement, then he shouldn't be in danger of losing his job - even if the record doesn't reflect. This was a very young team (with a lot of new vet starters) that overperformed last season. Somebody's doing something right. Consistency is key with so much youth. And we're potentially looking at new starters at ILB and FS. Those are positions that take time to fully understand the defense. ILB calls the front 7. Safety calls the back 4. Injuries at WR and IOL killed the offense last season. Depth needs to be upgraded. Same with Edge. I think they would have won more games if Pat Jones doesn't go down early. Be smart with the roster and draft. Trade players for assets when it's time to pay them more than they're worth - yes, that includes BY if he doesn't make a pretty big jump. That's one of the many reasons Tillis is as important as anyone to the future of this team.
    • He had heart surgery a while back he looks Fraile I hope he is okay
