Put USA Today and Tim Weaver in the Mike Wallace Column

Honestly we should go after Wallace to replace the Ginn role no matter what. Even if we want to go after Watkins/Robinson/Moncrief/etc. Going after Wallace is a must that should be completely independent of any other moves we make at the position. Wallace would be better than Ginn here with Cam. No doubt about that.

I can get with that. When the off-season began,  I thought that we should go after two vets anyway (and still do),  but I don't believe that's in Hurney's plans the way that he, Rivera and Norv have been talking.  They have a certain amount of stock in Samuel and Byrd stepping up,  and I can't blame them for that.

I can. If we go into next season with Funchess, Samuel, and Byrd as our top three WRs then we have failed massively.

According to the Rodrigue article the likelihood of that happening is slim and none.  We'll have at least a new starter,  and we'll have Norv calling the shots which will be a positive change as well.

Based on the comments and stats provided by the OP, Wallace seems like a good value signing.  Also fits the veteran presence that Rivera seems to want, a current version of Cotchery.  I don't think Moncrief makes it past Rivera's desire for a veteran presence.  Coaches usually get what they want.  Usually.

I’m in for Wallace or Sanders if broncos cut him.

Then get Watkins and we set.

Be lucky to get Wallace because we are not paying Watkins or Robinson. Definitely not getting to wrs in FA when we have so many holes to fill.
