Lebatard is roasting Nippleshorts for thinking he "invented football" and his "football genius" can solve all problems with his Master's degree in PE class. He's joking how such and "old-hat" football guy will have anything in common with ODB.

They played a snippet of Getts being interviewed by NY media - Getts tried to answer questions like he did here with the canned "I'm only gonna take football questions. Not gunna talk about players." The media kept at the ODB stuff and Getts let's out one of his awesome laughs. Lebatard continues roasting him.

Funny if you are a Gettlemen hater. Not funny if you actually liked Getts. If you are in the middle - it's just plain entertaining.

I mean Gettleman is obviously qualified for the GM position and they know it as well. The Lebetard show is full of gas bags who can sometimes be funny. No one takes them seriously

The legend of Dave Gettleman which people here still tirelessly defend is almost entirely based on the bravado and bluster from his press conference antics. We even had audio clips of his top phrases built into the message boards here at one point. Who does that? Sounds like the sort of worship that would make ol' "mister" Jerry Richardson proud.

      Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.

      Get off my lawn 😡 Reid coached Vick for a while. It helped, but ultimately Vick was still Vick. One of the maxims I swore by for years was to never sign a free agent QB from Reid's system because they never looked the same anywhere else. Would that apply to Mahomes? 🤔 Difficult to say. I might lean no, but it applied to McNabb. Doubt that theory ever gets a true test, though.
