Draft Day Chatter

Mr. Scot

Recommended Posts

Earlier in the week, we disclosed some teams that have injury and off-the-field concerns with prospects. Two other players who sources have mentioned in the past couple of days as also coming up with medical redflags are Louisville cornerback Jaire Alexander and Mississippi State offensive tackle Martinas Rankin. The problem they see with Alexander is relating to his knee. A knee injury caused him to miss multiple games last season. Sources did not describe the nature of Rankin's injury. If Alexander slides in the first round or Rankin slides on Friday night, any drop could be injury related.

Per Aaron Wilson, Ravens are keying in on McGlinchey or if he's gone then Kolton Miller.. very good news for our chances of getting Ridley as I've felt they're the main team ahead of us who would target him. Cowboys maybe but I see them going with Sutton (type of player Jones loves) or defense, probably Vander Esch.

That means Ridley to Bills or Patriots?

I would be so damn excited if somehow Ridley fell to us. So the media can stop with the excuses of Cam doesn't have any weapons. He would give our offense some much needed help.

No more talk about how weak our WR's are compared to other teams especially in our division.

Both are options to trade up for QB and have huge defensive needs. Plus Belichick's MO has never been drafting WRs high. He finds playmakers in the mid-late rounds and FA. Cooks was traded yes but they're also getting Edelman back and Mitchell will be healthy. I don't see them looking at any WR in round one.
