Best offseasons, per Gil Brandt

I think we did pretty well this offseason.  Not sure if I would put ours as the best, but we didn't need to have the best offseason.  The Eagles didn't do a lot, and no one's bitching about it up in Philly.  Patriots often don't seem to do a ton in the offseason, and they've been all right.

Rams and Vikings both became better.  In our own division, I think the Bucs' offseason looks the best on paper.  But I'm happy with what we've done anyway.

I’m not arguing with you, but u really think our secondary is much improved?

im surprised to see that the panthers weren’t on that list. I wasn’t blown away with some of their draft choices (did love the first rounder) but I think all in all, especially considering the change in ownership, we had a really good offseason. Hopefully a few more tweaks can be made here and there.

Compared to last year...of course I think our secondary is improved. Cockrell is much better than Worley + we added a second round corner in Jackson. We lost Coleman but he had digressed so much. Replacing him with Searcy is at best a slight upgrade, at worst, a wash. Hopefully Rashaan can step in and surprise us all at Safety.

bar was set pretty low for the browns. they added a lot of talent for sure, but they're still the browns. they'll find some way to screw it up. i think they may start out hot, but i think that there's not going to be a ton of meshing between jackson and haley. both guys are known for being stubborn and abrasive. plus it's the browns.

bucs got better, that's for sure, but i think that we did really well also, norv being the best addition to the team. i think with him and the additions of CJ and DJ that we'll wind up being the strongest overall team in the division.

All the Homers on here think we had the best offseason. Very surprised the Rams aren't on here but they didn't draft anyone so that's probably why. We had a top 10-15 offseason mainly because the splash signings with Poe and Anderson. We let a starting corner walk away and picked up some B-level wide receivers, which are better than our previous C-level wide receivers.

those are some bold expectations cotton, let's see if they pay off.

I've got nothing against Cockrell, but I question anointing him right now.

It's less about Cockrell himself as it is that this board has a habit of turning every JAG corner that gets signed here into the next Deion Sanders.

Seymour was supposed to be something special too. He didn't turn out that great.
