Without comment or opinion, FWIW, I'll just drop these links here. Off season boredom and a vague memory made me recollect this:

Yes, it wasn't his idea.  But once he was given the idea, he ran with it and made it a team tradition.

The guy came here, was put in a bad situation, did what he could.  Not an NFL talent, didn't complain when Cam got the starting nod, held a clipboard willingly.  Has never thrown shade at anyone in Carolina, just wasn't good enough.

Why so much hate?

Bad situation? He still trash

We were outscored 125-61 in games Moore started.

Not only is this not true, it is not even close to accurate.

In Matts' 13 starts he went 7-6, and we outscored the opposition 226-205.

But hey. Don't let the facts get in the way of a good argument.

It may be true that teh Jimmey may be one of the worst QBs to ever don a Panther jersey. But let's not put Matt on some pedestal that he does not deserve either.

Not only is it accurate, it's completely true.

It's plainly obvious that I was talking about 2010. The argument was that the Panthers were competitive when Moore started in 2010.

Here's a look at the games Moore started in 2010:

@ Giants
vs. Bucs
vs. 49ers
@ Rams
vs. Saints

So let's look at the scores of those games:

31-18 loss
20-7 loss
23-20 win
20-10 loss
34-3 loss

Now, let's compare the total scores of those games. Holy hell, what do they add up to be?

Opponents: 125
Panthers: 61

But hey, don't let your stupidity get in the way of a misguided attempt at defending Moore.
