I think it's a case of "quit before he fires me". She was never anything more than Jerry Richardson's proxy anyway.

I imagine Richard Thigpen should be out soon too.

The fact that he will continue to run the hedge fund is both troubling and exciting.  Was hoping he would take a little time away to examine the team from the top down, but also that he continue to work to keep from meddling as much as JR did.

Kent Babb believes that he'll transition to full time Panthers owner within the next year or so.  He'll want to make sure the hedge fund he built is in good hands first.  And to be fair, the people whose money is involved deserve that.

In the meantime, put someone like Khan in charge and let them get things in order.  That's better anyway to be honest, seeing as Tepper isn't a football guy.
