Henry has been more than "just okay," and that's why people in the know speak so highly of him. You shouldn't just look at a serious injury and say, "Well, he's a bust---not worth it." Moreover, you shouldn't judge someone based solely on stats without context. Sometimes players are asked to do a particular job, while waiting their turn so to speak. By every account that I read pre-injury, Henry got pretty much glowing reports.

I uh. I never said Henry was a bust. In fact I said Henry is the only one you can make an argument for -- he was expected to be taken But I do agree, I was lazy last night with checking my resources, and Henry has been better than his numbers when healthy.

I do agree with you on Butler being a luxury pick, somewhat, for the most. I think the heat on him would be a lot less if he got more playin time, I have no doubt he can be a great piece for this defense, that keeps our other big boys well rested, if he continues to improve. However if he does more of nothing this year I'll probably be just as frustrated at others.

I think what Butler can do for our defense, even by being a rotational guy, can be  a key contributing factor for this team.

I'm just saying. That second round was strong, especially the top half.

That's fair enough, but outside of MT, none of those guys  look like gaunted consistent probowlers, though I can see a strong argument for Henry in an improved Titans offense. Thrid round had Byard to, so it's not like it was devoid of talent

Agreed, and I expect a big year from Von Bell this year as well.

I knew some dumbass would ask so like Germain Ifedi who is actually playing right now. Also Henry broke records his rookie year not his ankle like Butler. Hell even Ogbah has done better and he plays for the Browns.

https://247sports.com/nfl/seattle-seahawks/Article/Seattle-Seahawks-hint-at-Germain-Ifedi-injury-118807870/

The 2018 season amounts to a swing year for every remaining player from the Seahawks 2016 NFL Draft but no player more than their first-round pick Germain Ifedi. Through two seasons of NFL work, Ifedi hasn't found the stability a team expects from their first rounders. In his rookie season, he played right guard where he was fine but not great. In year two, they moved him to right tackle where he was prone to penalty. So much so, he led the entire NFL in penalties. From unsportsmanlike conducts flags on rare occasions to false start and holding infractions much more frequently, the flashes of dominance that Ifedi showed at times were marred by mistakes.

and if we are holding Butler's ankle injury against him, Henry isn't even playing this season after tearing his ACL ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
