still waiting for you to say what you opposition to me is.

Keep waiting.

I'll respond if you can actually think of something interesting to say instead of just repeating yourself.

So basically, not happening.

My mom died about 6 years ago.

Some close friends showed for her funeral, some didn't.

People have their own lives, they are not OBLIGATED TO YOUR GRIEF.  Nor are they obligated to grieve in a manner that YOU determine is appropriate.  They can make that choice on their own, they don't need your help.

Now if they carelessly forgot and later were like all "Meh... " about it and made it clear they didn't give a crap about you, your Mom, or your feelings then, yeah, you might have grounds to feel hurt and/or insulted.  I'm betting with about 100% certainty that that's not the case here though.

She was my Mom.  If it had been only me to show up for her funeral, I would have felt exactly the same as if 1000 had shown up.

So, yeah, as a person who has gone through what KB had to experience, those 3 words to me are perfectly appropriate in this case: "Suck it up."

Another 5 that are also appropriate: "Get the hell over it."

Agree 100%. It's also just fuggen difficult to know how to handle any difficult situation as a friend. Some people need space, some need to move on and proceed as normal, others need a hug. All you can really do with certainty is be there for them if called on. I suspect you're right that Kelvin expected Cam/the organization to read his mind and that's not fair to anyone.

Additionally, the funeral isn't a forum to bring attention to the LIVING.

Its about the DEPARTED and sending them on their next step to the afterlife (if you believe in those things, which I do).

"My Mom died, WHAT ABOUT MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE????" is never a good look.  If you're having difficulty dealing with your Mom's death, speak to her and/or your pastor or a professional counselor.

Exactly.

He is throwing some weird compulsive tantrum because no one is “going at him”, yet he hasn’t contributed anything worth discussing in this thread. He had some failed attempt at trying to say this wasn’t Panthers related early on and got destroyed by several folks for that retarded comment.

He is a clown.

    • What's wrong with Damien Lewis? He played pretty well last year.
    • Official NFL Cuts Tracker Deadline for roster cuts is Tuesday, August 26th. At this moment (Friday, August 22nd) the only interesting names I see are... K Caden Davis (BUF) RB Ameer Abdullah (SF) WR Equanimeous St. Brown (SF) WR Donovan Peoples-Jones (NO) LB Khaleke Hudson (TEN) Abdullah, St. Brown, Peoples-Jones I don't exactly think we should cut anybody for but it was just interesting seeing those names. Khaleke Hudson was on the Panthers' practice squad last year I believe and might have even gotten called up? And of course, Caden Davis just because of the question mark at kicker this season for the team.
    • I'll say 6/10. I don't know that we learned a whole lot about this team during preseason that we didn't already know. We didn't play the starters enough to really get a feel for what to expect. We had one good drive against the Browns, one 3-and-out and two 3-and-outs against the Texans. That's an extremely small sample size across 3 games regardless of performance. My camp/preseason takeaways: Jalen Coker might be the best WR on this team and is certainly no worse than #2. Nic Scourton is going to be a good player for us. Possibly very good. Bobby Brown was our best free agent addition. Jack Plummer isn't an NFL QB. Not even a practice squad guy. Having anyone other than Canales and Evero call plays was a really stupid and pointless idea. Our depth is largely non-existent, especially on defense. The three areas we actually DO have depth are on the OL, in the WR corp. and at RB. I can't fathom why Dan Morgan didn't do more to upgrade ILB during the offseason. We better hope Lathan Ransom steps up at FS because if he doesn't we have a massive hole. For all the hype surrounding Sanders/Evans, Tommy Tremble is still the best TE on the roster. I'm only slightly less enthusiastic going into the regular season than I was a month ago. I think our starters on offense are solid and we should be pretty good there unless Bryce totally regresses. On defense, we're probably bottom 3rd in the league if 100% healthy and significantly worse than that if injuries become an issue. We badly need at least two of our rookies to become high-level players early (ideally one of the pass rushers + Ransom) and at least 2 of our free agent additions (ideally Moehrig + Bobby Brown) to be significant upgrades over last year. Call me pessimistically optimistic 😆
