It would have actually been 2-1 if Saints player hadn't hit Cam in the eye.

lolwut?

Did Cam's eyes move to the back of his head or his shoulder pads? Where did a Saints player poke him in the eye?

Looks to me he circled out of an attempted sack of Davison and ran directly into Onyemata's chest. Only way something got in his eye is if some of those rubber turf pellets found their way in it (which is very plausible). But being poked? Nah son.

I can’t decide if I love or hate the fact that he cursed during the entire interview. I love it because it’s real emotion which is why I love the game of football. I hate it because dude, represent yourself better. Either way, best part is the fug Minnesota part. Real words, respect.

If that is the case then why did Cam remove his helmet to nurse a gouged eye genius. That game was our win if that didn't happen.

pissist play i've ever seen....be assured drew brees wouldn't have been blown out in philly....i thought the saints were the best team in nfc ly

I thought they looked good early in the season, but then started struggling a little in the second half.  Lost at LA  (no shame really there), Atlanta (in a ugly game), and a bad loss to Tampa that we didn't make them pay for.  And they might have lost to the skins except for some horrible play by the skins in the last 5 minutes and one bad call by the refs.  To be honest, all three NFC south teams were struggling coming into the playoffs.

I'm coming across as a Saints fan... at what point could someone say there was a malicious eye poke? If anything, the collision caused his visor to push back into his face.

What makes me angry when watching that clip is Trai Turner. He gets beat and completely quits on the play. Cam makes Trai's man whiff on the tackle only to get trucked by a different guy that Trai could have blocked. Trai was a little bitch on that play.

Well, genius, I've provided you with the evidence of the play in question. How about you specifically point out the exact moment of the alleged eye poke considering Onyemata's left arm was wrapped over Newton's right shoulder with his hand on his back/nameplate and Onyemata's right arm was against Newton's left shoulder until he removes it right before hitting the ground to brace himself from the impact and prepare to get up and celebrate his sack. As I said, if something affected his eye, the only reasonable excuse would be the rubber pellets that fly up from the turf. But that wasn't an eye poke.

This is an eye poke...

A Saints players jammed his foot into Cams visor and pushed it into his eye. Watch the game play.

LMAO, you can't be serious. So first it was an eye gouge, now it's a player kicked his visor into his eye?  :liar:

Please show me a video or a GIF of anything remotely similar to that happening.

Yeah, I think this is solo thread worthy.  You might think so too after you read Kamara's...eloquent take on last year's playoff loss.

Alvin Kamara has some choice words about the Minnesota Miracle

So...yeah.

Why don't we have a Minnesota Miracle Pie option? It would be a good compliment to our 28-3.
