Whatever, you have your agenda to push.  The offense was fine, it was week 1 under a new offensive coordinator.  CMC other than the fumble had a good game and so did CJ.  Cowboys D left Cam open so he took advantage, shame on them.

If you think offense was fine you need to re-evaluate the way you watch football. Do you know the reason panthers  lost to the Saints 3x in a row...It wasn't the defense.

We all love CMC & CAM but you gotta use other weapons.

Umm.. since we are evaluating the way everyone watches football, you do realize the Saints scored 31 + points in every game last year against us?   So ....  maybe it's a team thing.

Not saying the offense couldn't perform better,   Especially that second game against the Saints.  But that first game Ingram and Kamara killed us.  Missed tackles that entire game.

The playoff game we should have won, but there were a lot of missed opprotunities on boths sides of the ball.   Also our inability to stop Michael Thomas killed us in all 3 games.

I think you have unrealistic expectations if you expect us to come out of the gate scoring 30+ points.  Especially with our Oline and the loss of Olsen.

First I can see just fine, no need to bold and enlarge your text.  Second, show me a perfect team in the NFL.

Gotta pass the fuging ball whatever happend to PA by Norv?

One thing Cam said in his interview with Erin Anderws was that if there was something in the game plan he didn't like, Norv would take it out. So if there's a lack of PA pass plays, it might be because Cam didn't like the ones in the game plan and Norv took them out.

I love Cam and I'm thrilled he's our QB, but between this and Ron intimating Cam made the call to take the FG at the end of the half yesterday, I'm starting to think Cam is partially responsible for some of things we've blamed Shula/Ron/Norv for.

It also doesn't change the fact that he is wrong as well.

  • First loss to the Saints:

Drew Brees was 22 of 29 for 220 yards and 3 touchdowns and only got sacked once. Their rushing attack had 27 carries for 149 yards for a 5.5 yard per carry average. Considering their longest rush of the day was 25 yards we were just being rolled on both offense and defense. Cam threw 3 INTs here so we had nothing on offense and our defense was stopping nobody. Both sides share equal blame.

  • Second loss to the Saints:

Drew Brees was 25 of 34 for 269 yards and one touchdown and no turnovers. Their rushing attack again averages over 5 yards per carry as a team and they gashed us for 3 rushing touchdowns. The two by Kamara were both multiple broken tackle touchdowns for him and the one by Ingram was a 70+ yarder.

Cam in this game? 17 of 27, two touchdowns and no turnovers. Our rushing attack? 23 carries for 112 yards. This L is completely on the defense. And again, the Saints second game scoring over 30 on us.

  • Third loss to the Saints:

Two plays 80 yard TD, nine plays 75 yard TD, eight plays 75 yard TD, ten plays 36 yards field goal, and lastly five plays 62 yards TD. Those were the Saints scoring drives against us where we once again gave up over 30 points. The Carolina Panthers defense gave up 23 completions for 376 yards. That's basically not defense. Cam kept up with Brees this game going for over 300 as well, we had two 100 yard receivers and we outrushed the Saints. Again, another game with 30+ points given up. Our defense wasn't good.

So again, the defense has blame in 3 of 3 and the offense has blame in 1 of 3 of these games. This poster just continues to push his agenda for backup running backs.

P.S. Saints offense average 40 pts a game last year

2-3 of losses where on the offense.

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
