The cap space eaten up by the Kalils.

Who gives a rats ass about them? Ryan is a solid all pro center. He’s slow on his step but it’s the first game of the season. Cam trust him. Look through the record. Perhaps he will smack these backups and make something happen.

Regarding Norwell, it isn't so much about THEM as it is their contracts.Tyan greatly limits us this year, Matt greatly limits us next year and in '20.

Why didn’t we sign him? We took a UDFA and made him a Multi Mil. But he isn’t here. We don’t have our guard pair to keep poo together.

This is the poo you get with hurney.

Igo. I’m looking at you. He was your boy.

Simple answer is no smart and successful team has ever paid two guards TOP flight money. Trai flashed sooner, had draft equity invested in him and more importantly he is 2/3 years younger than Norwell, he gets paid first 10 out of 10 times. Plus it would've hamstrung every other free agency move.

    • DJ and Bryce would cook.  I wish we could have him back but not at his current price tag.
    • Both have had incredibly talented teams that have made it to the playoffs a bunch of years, but have failed to win the big one or even a conference championship. The parallels are there and at what point does ownership get tired of just being happy to be there versus getting over the hump.
