Lesser defense? They’re 10th in scoring and 5th in yards even after that drubbing they took last night. 

They were surrendering 14.7 ppg before last night and despite getting 43 dropped on them, they’re still top-10 in points. We were a missed XP shy of matching the number of points their defense gave up in the 3 previous games combined.

I live in DC. Skins fans are over Norman. He was benched cause he simply isn’t good anymore. The breakdown is he is too slow and guesses way too much to compensate for his lack of talent. Evidently he bites/guesses hard on anything in the flats/screens. Fans here in DC are already thinking he will guess wrong 2-3 times on those same plays with CMC coming out of the backfield, just like he did against Green Bay and the Saints last night. 

All of those big plays were a result of him guessing wrong. Hopefully the Panthers take advantage of this.

He's getting thrown at 3.5 times a game vs some of the most pass happy teams in the NFL. I guess guessing wrong two or three times isn't that bad.

Actually, if you're getting thrown out between three and four times a game and guessing wrong on two or three of those, yeah that'd be pretty bad

So bad that the Redskins still have a top five defense playing some of the leagues most pass happy offenses. Do you think the Panthers having a bottom half defense says anything?

Josh is sucking there because he got paid and now there is nothing to play for in Washington,..they suck. Their top of the division seat is early in the season and will go down the toilet like they always do,..

In 2016 and 2017 they were terrible, not making the playoffs.  What happened the other night?  I hope those stats keep you warm at night.

Cool story? If the Redskins defense in 2016 and 2017 had any bearing on this year’s Redskins defense your argument would have merit, but it doesn’t and neither do you. 

And they keep me rather warm, not as warm as that sweep last year, but close.

So you are a Saint's fan arguing about the Redskin's on a Panther's board?  After you get your life together, realize the original argument was about Josh Norman's play in DC after leaving here, his contract, and him being benched.  So your post is the one that doesn't have any merit.  You jumped in trying to throw some stats and jump out.  And you're a contradictory miscreant talking about don't talk about the past and then talk about the past.  Go back to the Saints board until the end of the year and talk about your team.

The sweep is nothing compared to that great everlasting embarrassment the AInts suffered at the hands of Williams ("I fell down and can't get up" ) and bungles the game and the Aints had to go to face humiliation at home.

How am I "jumping in/jumping out"? I've been here responding to every poster that quotes me. I responded to the statement of "the Redskins pass defense being abysmal" to which I countered that if they were that abysmal they wouldn't be 7th in passing yards surrendered a quarter of the way through the season. But since you're feeling so righteous, I'll break your argument down even further: the Redskins pass defense was 9th in passing yards allowed in 2017 and they were 11th in passing TD's surrendered in 2016. They've literally been a top-10 pass defense or just outside of it for the last two years and are well on their way to a 3rd.

I'm sorry that stats hurt your feelings, there's nothing I can do about that.

And if I bring up history, it'll be relevant history; two of our games occurred less than 9 months ago and our teams haven't had much turnover in that time.
