Defense was bad all game

Rivera pushiest out at the beginning

clock management was awful

offensive play calling was horrendous the first half

o line had no holes open for running for the most part

wrs weren’t trying to get open when Cam made more time in the pocket

cam missed some throws late

it was a full team effort on shitting the bed this week.

Thank you

The fact that we played this horrible and were a couple intelligent throws away from winning SHOULD explain how important it is for our philosophy to change. We appear to have good ability to move the ball down the field, and it seems we would be even more effective having the pass set up the run instead of vice versa. But we all know that will never happen with Rivera. Cam takes a lot of blame for that last drive, but at the same time, we ask him to bail us out in the most effective way possible that also happens to be completely different than our primary objective most of the time.

Think about that again. What we are most EFFECTIVE at doing, we FORCE our QB to do on his own when we are down. That is why we’ll never be great with Rivera.

BTW no offense is afraid of our defense

No defense is afraid of our offense. They play the run and even if they give up some TDs they know our passing game is too inconsistently to beat them. Regardless of if we win or not that's how teams play us...been easy to see for years.

yet, this keeps being the same story for the past 3 years...lol. if not during the season...in the p[layoffs (when it really counts). So, who does that fall on?

No such thing as playing down to the competition. The better team is the team that wins the game.

Were not a good team right now

There absolutely is, and we did it today. Missing PATs and letting the ball go. It’s like clockwork, we play a team with way less talent and somehow always let them stick around by our own doing. Washington was dunking and dinking and we kept playing off. We couldn’t stop a 33yr old RB from gashing us with supposedly the best LB unit in the NFL.

Today? Everyone. The common denominator is Rivera, but others need to shoulder some of the blame too. He didn’t make players miss tackles or miss a PAT

you are exactly right...should help with changes to all those factors (missed tackles, missed FG/PAT, etc)….coaching would be the first thought...but, who knows. Think game plan that puts us at a disadvantage (playing not to lose) plays into those things, as well. Plus, we have other distractions the past 2 games...the loss and the one the refs gave us. Just think, if we did could actually play to win and without unnecessary distractions....lol
