The Panthers play their 3rd team coming off 10 days rest tomorrow.

Punishment for Rivera calling out The Shield for this team having to start on the road every year while the precious Cowboys started at home for the same stretch?

The team got their home opener after Ron went public about it-and then got a garbage bye, a road division game in Week 17, and a parade of games against teams coming off Thursday nights.

Guess the odds that a team like new england is forced to endure such a barrage of hurdles as such-ill give you a hint;they've got none of things

I'm tired of people crying and saying things aren't fair. I'm sure every team could come up with something they find unfair. It is what it is. Excuses are for losers.

*cries about what other people are saying on an internet forum daily*

I mean some teams have to go to London for a game.  I agree with Daddy Uncle, no excuses.

great point, the panthers are in the last year of a Richardson schedule and it's entirely possible they're being punished for not "doing their part" to bring roger some sterling silver folding money at the expense of the typical Stateside viewer

You think the schedule makers would go out of their way, rearranging every other teams schedule, just to make sure we have slight disadvantages throughout our schedule? This is basically   youre saying and its beyond rediculous.

silly me, the NFL has proven itself as a beacon of impartiality, immune to the temptations of diluting the sport in the name of a few extra dollars, it's merely coincidental that teams like Dallas can open at home for a 5 year stretch whilst less profitable teams are laid to deal with the inverse. Its nothing some internet bravado can't fix!

also the NFL is really dedicated to player safety and rules aren't designed to protect certain persons whom executives have determined to be more valuable despite what dangers and unnatural burdens it may place on other less valuable persons playing the sport

Last year we played 2 teams coming off 10-days rest (both playoff teams, Patriots and Bills), started and ended the season on the road (against a 3rd playoff team and divisional rival, respectively), had a Week 5 bye, had a Thursday night divisional game on the road for the 5th time in 6 years (against a 4th playoff team), and had a London game.

Cool story, bro.

what about "we played two of those over the course of 16 games in comparison to half your games to start the season and one of those games was against the bills" is a gotcha moment

I noticed this too.it sucks for sure, but we can’t do anything about it. Time to whoop ass plain and simple.

You're probably right.  If this team becomes a back to back, kick ass team and brings a SB victory instead of a follow-up, then we will see better scheduling.  No we will not get the dream of easy schedules from year to year but they will be prime games.  Just my 1/2 a nickles worth.

You mean those same Bills y’all barely beat 9-3 in Charlotte and we stomped 47-10 in Buffalo last year? Those Bills?

And cool, y’all play the Bengals, Eagles, and Seahawks off 10-days rest. 2 of those 3 are still at home and the only road trip is a measley hour and a half flight.

What about the Redskins game where they came off a Monday night drubbing on the road and still put it on y’all despite having a short week of preparation? Is it the NFL’s fault too for y’all poor preparation and execution against a team on a short week?

you seem to misunderstand, the panthers have played 3 of these games against teams off of 10 days rest **so far.**

We aren't talking about a cumulative product which would be more equatable to how victories are determined by the cumulative points scored throughout a game and not just the first 59 minutes and 50 seconds

    • I mean the whole defense was trash, he was at least trying. Besides if you put a all-pro among 10 PSers, that all-world will look human. It's very hard to judge very bad units and find the best players among them. Horn and Mjack played well too, there was 0 pass rush and -1777784 run defense.
    • I was looking back and seen Evan Neal has made the switch to OG after awful years at OT.......I wanted him over Icky for his tricep alone..... I was 100% stroud too, I was super pissed about his record setting and playoff leading start......I had arich vastly over the midget BY too. But right now, BY is about the only one on the up&up. The Texans used lots of prime draft capital to help Stroud.  It's still not ready. But if you're honestly about past drafts, these GMs are not alone in making mistakes.  I still feel they should stayed put and allowed Carter to fall in their lap, but best I know Tepper had the worst rage about landing a QB for the past 5 years. The deal is with the correct coaching staff, Baker or darnold would still be here....Baker has signed 3 years for 100 million, which is a great NFL QB contract. Tepper hiring rhule and his shitty Baylor/temple staff was a massive setback given rhule was in control too. Then panic set in an d fitteerererererer had to make a winner and find a QB. Ugh.....I hope they are back...
    • Also maybe the biggest part is his fromer college buddy, Lord Lamar told the GM to sign him. It was done nearly right after and guess who was the first person Alexander met at ravens stadium??
