I agree, I'm hoping for this year haha if we cut Smith, this could work. We went out and got Jared Allen before deadline on the way to the SB, I'll keep my fingers crossed, but it's highly doubtful. 

 

Andthe only reason I say cut Smith is because Cam barely looks his way, but yet when we run Moore in his place, he was the #1 or 2 read on a lot of plays. I like the vet presence that Smith brings, but we also have that with Cotchery

throw poe in the trash while you're at it and top it off with hurney for bringing this space wasters in here.

Beane's not an idiot though. I think he realizes that one's on him.

It was a pretty low risk deal for the Bills and they didn't give up much to get him and it obviously hasn't worked out.  Benjamin will be on the open market and it wouldn't surprise me if he was out of the NFL in a couple years.  He just doesn't have the work ethic.

When did Shaq and Collins become Linebackers?

Lawson was once a LB, now i guess a DE for the Bills. Collins i thought was the same, but I guess is a safety. Look at those two defenses and tell me you'd want to waste a draft pick on these guys.

It was a pretty low risk deal for the Bills and they didn't give up much to get him and it obviously hasn't worked out.  Benjamin will be on the open market and it wouldn't surprise me if he was out of the NFL in a couple years.  He just doesn't have the work ethic.

Lawson was a 3-4 OLB because that was the scheme he was in. He’s a pass rusher and we need pass rushers and youth. If he can be had for cheap then it’s worth a shot. He’s got another year then the 5th year option left on his contract

Don’t want Collins. He would cost a lot likely a 2nd or 3rd and he is in the final year of his contract and is in line to get $8-10M/year which we can’t really affford with the need to re-sign Daryl and rebuild most of the DL.

He is well liked in Buffalo and time will tell how he turns out.  Buffalo has a ton of cap space and picks next year and they feel like their time is imminent.

I'd offer a 4th or something for Bruce Irvin. The main thing this team is missing is more juice from the front four in obvious passing situations.

Well, I guess that would mean that TD gets the 1 or 2 year extension that he wants.
